6 hours ago I finished CV-EX-8 thanks to your guide. After that I've been playing for about 6 hours trying to figure out how to make my defender survive using the same strat for 6 hours only to come here later lmao.
Will the Easy guide work to get the medal on normal difficulty? I'm having a lot of trouble timing the retreats to keep him from teleporting with your Low Rarity strat.
@@johnathanmonsen6567 You don't block him in phase 2. If you're talking about the mini stall part you drop them in real quick and take out. Do it at x1 speed.
THIS! After a few tries I finally passed this stage. I tried other strat but kept failing for like 2 hours. I like how we stall him and finish his first phase and reached second phase at the top of the map. This way provides a big room for error in the second phase when he come out of the tunnel. My Typhon has no m3 and module so I had a lot of time for her to shoot more and Surtr to help finish him off. Thanks so much Eckogen!!
And if you need MORE stall and don't have an invested Typhon...Robin. Clip isn't immune to binds, so just lay some caltrops in his path while you wait for timers!

3 healers with the abyssal hunters and it's a walk in the park. Sandwich him between guard skadi and spectre, have gladiia off to the side and now u can throw whatever ranged DPS u want to speed it up. They're not dying XD
If you have extra space or don't need to pull in any supports, Shamare with any mastery on her second(?) skill (the curse doll one), sitting down in the corner with Saria is REALLY good. Like she can legit half Cliff's damage at M3. edit: Forgot to say but thank you for the guide, Ecko!
Thank you, Eckogen. It took me several attempts to clear this with several operator replacements. When I finally cleared it, I was wondering why I didn't get the trimmed medal. I had to reread the conditions again to finally understand, and had to facepalm myself. I have cleared normal with my old brute force method without also fulfilling the conditions so I thought the medal and the trim will be on the CM. Anyway, redid this on normal and finally got all the medals.
Boy if Cliffy boy wasn't just the most annoying mofo to try and figure out. I've learned that I need my own E2 Hoshi. Finally gonna pull the trigger on that.

if you dont have hoshi, you could use cuora S2 M3 with module, just need to timing her skill when the budget skullshatterer coming same as warfarin, susuro would work too, just need to timing her skill so you could borrow another operator
Alright this map is significantly easier if you have a Mlynar stuck in the middle of the 2 shooty thingys. Just place him right after the 20th mark (mobs wont be able to kill him) and you are gucci as the boss will pause for a bit after he goes through your Shining at the end there. Notice the key to this map is to NOT kill the boss until the 35~36th mob has been cleared aka he shouldnt reach his 2nd phase right until the very end. If you can time it right then it is quite a simple map but if your phone/PC cant handle the precise timings then yeah you will struggle while a LOT tbh.
@@aldwinjasperjoniega8973 I do have her and replaced her in Gravel's spot. It does work in normal, but unfortunately not in cm. As Cliff's skill comes every 12-13 seconds-ish and Texalt redeployment time is 11. I couldn't put her down there in time to help the lane while Cliff stuns Hoshi and walk pass through her. @@s3in850 if you have lumen s3 m3 or even just s3 L7 replace one your medics with him to counter cliffs stun, i never had the issue of cliff passing through my defender i only had the issue of leaking in the lower right lane cuz of unga bunga overload mechanics of those beffy bois
I mean it’s kinda mentioned in the “stroke of thunder” section: stuns the target & adjacent units then hits 6 times. If target dies/retreats, he penetrates (moves) a certain distance and the skill refreshes. The only fault with the info is it not being super blunt in its delivery but it explains everything.
Man this map was fucking garbage. I haven't need to use a guide in literally years, but this thing was so poorly deisnged it's not even funny just frustrating and annoying. This to me was literally worse then most R18 contingency contracts I've done. Pinch out still wins as "worst map ever", but this easily takes the cake as the worst 'normal' stage map in the game IMO.
@@kushalmazumder6953 Piss off. I knew exactly what the mechanics did, the mechanics are just SHIT. There's no real counter or interplay with you it's effectively just a flat super-buff for the enemy. It also does not fix the problem meaningfully with regards to the boss because it's finicky with large downtime gaps, and furthermore it's very obvious the map was designed with regards to enemy spawns and layout to make it harder still to use the already gimmicky and annoying mechanic effectively. The boss without all the super-charged adds would be okay, the super-charged mobs without the insta-killing teleporting boss would be okay, together they're just a poorly designed and frustrating mess.

I think you can use Rosa instead of Typhon, but the timings are a bit harder

Need a low rarity guide? Check out my EX-8 and apply it to CM. Same strategy works.

Masteries or no? Most ops will die if the enemy is Overloaded. They deal tons of damage and take hardly any.
