Wow! I'm a pedal steel player and have followed it for over 50 years and that is one of the very best, most sweet playing I've ever heard! Thank you so much!
Really nice playing, thank you. Steel players tend to show more emotion as they play as compared to many other musicians and instruments. I think part of it is that they are having to use more of their body to play.
Those Session 500’s are hard to beat on tone.Wish they weren’t so darn heavy. I play through a new Fender ToneMaster Twin that we swapped the 2-12’a for 1-15” BWidow and sounds terrific.Best part about it is weighs only 39#’s. I just got a new Rittenberry SD-10 4&5 so I don’t have all of the levers but I’m trying to get as close as I can to you & John. Thank you for posting this.
Beautiful!!!

I have an old sho bud and only two knee levers on it. I see you have a whole family of knee levers. Great playing.
It appears he's only using 3 on this version of the song. Some of what you see is C6th only.
❤ lovely
Excellent!

John Hughey would be happy listening to this rendition. I met him at Steel guitar convention St.Louis playing this song with Vince Gill singing !

I’m working in this one right now. It’s a Bugar to try to emulate John.
