I have gotten so much from this teaching. As far as I can tell-and I’ve looked-this is the most concise instruction on the tones anywhere. I would only enjoy it more if there were more! Thank you!
Actually the enharmonic scales are the ones that sound most harmonic to western ears because they are only scales that really consist of half tone steps and whole tone steps. The diatonic, hard chromatic and soft chromatic scales can in fact not be shown on a piano keyboard.
