I have a similar setup but with a WO Flourostar120 on an EQ6-R pro. I have one power cable from a 12v 10A AC/DC power brick that goes up to a Pegasus Power Box. My main camera, the mount, two dew straps, a filter wheel and the mini PC are powered from there. My EAF and guide camera are powered via USB from the rear of the main camera (no rotator though). WiFi from the house to the PC is pretty good but I also have the option of ethernet if I wish. So, two cables at most
Kamil, thank you for this video. You inspired me. My balcony has an axis of approximately 175 - 355 degrees and I probably won't see the North Star from this place, but there are other ways to position the equipment. Congratulations on your new home and I'm waiting for your next videos. I know you use Star Adventurer Pro Can you tell us something about the Star Adventurer GTI? Is it better than Star Adventurer 2i? Thank you again and best regards. A great and very valuable film.
Thank you! Yeah the GTI is better suited for heavier rigs and for deep sky astro. For PA just use the „3 point alignment” computer routine and you’re good to go. I don’t see Polaris from my balcony either!
Great to see you back! I also recently purchased a whole rig and started doing some astro from the car parking down below.. I need to use 15m long extension cable because I live on 2nd floor 😅.. I do have a balcony but I have not yet tried putting there because it's very narrow.. my mount is AM5 so it's not easy to check if the rig will hit the wall.. still I will try to move the mount using hand controller in all directions to see if it really hits..
Welcome back and good luck with your new house. I was glad to hear how durable your mount is if it’s covered when not in use. I have a large SCT on wheels that I roll out for a week at a time weather pending
my mele 2 produces a lot of heat as the mele products are fanless and rely on passive cooling technology, has good thermal dissipation , your mele is right under your lens , would you not be getting thermal disturbance effect image quality ?
Glad to see you back too!! I shoot only from my backyard un a bortle 6-7 area with NB. I often leave the equipment outside for several days if the weather permits. I also use the same setup with everything build ready.
Very interesting setup. I would love to do something similar on my balcony. Sadly it only has a view from south-east to south-west. So no northside and therefor no polar alignment.
new subscriber and ill wait for your new rigs and location

Yeah with a harmonic drive it might be hard to check if there are no collisions but should be doable too
Phew! Great to see you are back - good luck with finishing the constructing and on the move 🙏 Thanks for taking time to update
Measurements in inches? 🤔
Yeah trying to conform to probably the majority of the audience haha
Great to have you back, looking forward to new videos :)

Hmm never thought of that but I’ve never seen any issues like that on my images

Yeah these easy-to-use setups are the best!
I haven't forgotten about you 👍 Welcome back Kamil. Congratulations 🍾🍾🍾
🎉
Love to see you back ❤
Good to see you again Kamil! Good luck with the new house!
Thanks!
good to see your back
It's amazing to see you back! Great video.
Hey, thanks!
Welcome back mate. Nice to have you around.
Good to be back! Thanks 😊
Good to see you back, the new house sounds like a promising development.

You don’t need to! I don’t have sight of Polaris either like I even mentioned in the video
@@kamilkp Yes I heard it later in the video. So how do you polar align without seeing the north?
I think the procedure is called „3 point polar alignment” but you need a computerized mount to do that
@@kamilkp Thank you.
Woohoo, Kamil is back 😊!
🎉
Don't have a balcony.
