An intriguing film.... to me it depicted Evil men with Evil power in an Evil world. = Hell On Earth. Thank you for the English subtitles.

I liked it a lot, beautiful imagery, but what is the meaning of the end? The marriage, the monkey and the hanging?!

Marriage = The guy was in love with the girl from the beginning. You’d think that they are happy with such a fate.
Monkey = The whole marriage ceremony is basically a metaphor. In the scene they say they hope that the lord gives them sons like that (placing the monkey on his lap). This means that the cruel and sinful way of living gets brought to the next generation. Or in other words : Their son will be a monkey (stupid), who lives just as cruel of a life as his ancestors.
Hanging = Both the man and the woman are very frustrated about the state of the world they live in (the man has a whole speech about how he hates the graves and would rather see happiness), so they decide to kill themselves.
This is how i understood it.
