I always advice new members to have an orientation on how it works before getting involved. Trade offers more benefits than just holding.

Okay so if it takes 3- 6 months to learn the skill, there should be millions of millionaires already under the mentorship of the interviewee. Another thing is this is more of a promotional interview which already screams scammer vibes. Like there is no evidence of who taught this guy etc

Forex is a game of speculation not gambling. That's 2 different things. U learn the skills of forex. As for gambling u dnt learn shit u jst trust in your luck. If u come in forex wth the gambling mindset u will never make it in the forex industry trust me. U need to treat as a profession if u wanna make it. U learn the skills and u experience the markets for some years before u catch up on everything and start making real money.

Banks are loan sharks but we don't call them that . However they do the same thing as loan sharks do which is lend out money to ppl .

I fully understand your reasons for that statement.
1. The term "gambling" refers to When One takes a risky action in the hope of a desired result. In forex, traders are taking a risk.
2. A profitable trader is one who takes a calculated risk which eliminates the "hope" part meaning they are not gambling because they have accepted the risk that comes with taking trades.
3. Gamblers have "impulse-control disorder" meaning they cannot resist the urge to gamble even when it doesn't favour them
4. A good trader is one who understands that their emotions play a huge role in trading and they are patient enough to wait for the market to illustrate something on the chart that favours them before taking a trade.
5. When trading there's what we call analysis which is a tested methodology over a certain period of time and it's consistent and without it a trader cannot buy or sell because it is used to interpret what the market is illustrating.
6. A trader has to accept the risk that is associated with trading and there's risk management which helps because You have to risk a certain amount to make a certain amount often 2/3 times more of what you are risking.
7. So a trader has control of how much they can risk on a trade but they don't have control over how the market will move but when the trader is risking money they are comfortable with losing on a trade especially when everything else aligns (market information which you were able to interpret using your methodology).
There are people who gamble with forex and the are people who really trade. So forex isn't really gambling, it is just risky and people who cannot accept the risk are gamblers
I hope that will help those who didn't understand.
To answer your questions
1. Trading is a zero sum game I agree because There's profitable traders and losing traders aren't doing the same things
2. Profits sometimes are a result of luck and most of the times they are result of understanding what you're doing(having a methodology that you have tested or that has proven to produce good results over time.), your emotions being managed correctly, being patient to wait for the opportunity that favours you the most and having a risk management plan.
Btw the methodology should be the least of problems because there's nothing better than the other. There's no such thing as a 100% winning methodology even with a 40% win rate You can still be profitable because of a good risk management plan. The key focus should be should understanding yourself and the emotions that are associated with trading and that will determine you making profits over time because people sabotage themselves because of lack of knowledge in the right things.
