I love how Jun made it clear that he doesn't judge anyone at cooking, not his wife only. He also patiently waited for Rachel to cut and asked her if she got the right knife. Patience is a skill you can exercise and practice, and it doesn’t make you a bad person if sometimes you get impatient. Knowing the kind of person you want to be and getting to that point is a lifelong effort. Don’t be too hard on yourself, just try to be the kind of person you’d like to be around and you’ll be okay :)

Those are king oyster mushrooms. You can often get them and a wide variety of other mushrooms from Asian supermarkets and fruit/veg markets in Australia
I haven't cut myself while cooking in a few years, entirely because I cut myself more than once back then. Cooking is a skill like anything else, and it's not a race, folk should go as fast or as slow as they're comfortable with. I personally never understood people not liking to cook, like sure it's an effort, but you also get to make stuff exactly how you want to make things, even if you like difficult complicated things, you can focus and learn those things instead of learning to make bread or pasta sauce or something, and have the kind of food you like whenever you want.
I can't really cook much at the much because of my current living arrangements but when I finally get to move out and get a place of my own, I'm definitely going to learn how to properly cook various, healthy meals. (Not just because of the healthiness but I genuinely love the taste of it.)
Since I moved out with 19 I am cooking for myself each day. And I got better though I admit that I propably do the same 10 dishes around 80% of the time XD

I love how Jun made it clear that he doesn't judge anyone at cooking, not his wife only. He also patiently waited for Rachel to cut and asked her if she got the right knife. These are definitely the kind of people I wanna be surrounded with. However, I felt impatient when I saw the way Rachel cut potatoes though, maybe if I can't react the way Jun did, I don't deserve to be surrounded by people like him.
Patience is a skill you can exercise and practice, and it doesn’t make you a bad person if sometimes you get impatient. Knowing the kind of person you want to be and getting to that point is a lifelong effort. Don’t be too hard on yourself, just try to be the kind of person you’d like to be around and you’ll be okay :)
that's completely valid bro
jun is such a patient and supportive husband lol. even with rachels very time consuming chopping "you're doing great!"
I love how he doesn’t say stuff like: u could do it like that... mimimi, like teaching her
He just let her be and judges her in his mind 😂😂♥️
That’s true love
*watching Rachel cut potatoes
Me: *judge judge judge judge j/k
Rachel: How's my slicing technique?
Jun: .....You're doing good!
In all seriousness, you did great Rachel :) Especially that egg crackin' technique. Gotta admit, I'm kinda jelly
I was expecting a lot worse.
honestly rachel has hair goals like holy wow it's so pretty!
*cracks eggs with one hand*
Me: *claps in much impress*.
Are you cooking in front of Jun the master?
Jun had so much patience.
She actually did good tho
@@BBaaaaa She did! 😌
when jun presented rachel his knives, he basically tried to hand his level 100 rayquaza to a rookie trainer as a starter pokemon
Poki: MRRAAAWWWW!
Rachel: SHHHHH!!!
Poki: Okay, Mom, I'll wash my paws...
Roope Rontu and repeat until she gives food! 😂
if a robber were to rob their house he should think twice because-
jun: *drawers of collection of kNivEs*
He has the skill to be able to fillet them
It just makes me really happy to see how encouraging Jun is with Rachel’s cooking and how he praises her and encourages her when she doubts herself
*cracks second egg with one hand* "If someone is not impressed, get out of here!" *goes in to scoop up egg shell* hehehe.
I still can't crack an egg with one hand to scoop the egg shell from... :(
I was scooping out the little white goopy part! If someone else is cooking I’ll eat it but if I’m making eggs myself I usually take it out. -Rachel
I don't crack an egg unless I am adding an egg into my instant noodles, but I'm impressed by that single hand cracking. And I think from this video I will now be able to single hand crack eggs. Will find out tmr when I make myself some noodles.
@@JunYoshizuki I was thoroughly impressed by your egg cracking skills. I still can't do it with one hand but I'm going to try your technique now!
Rachel: *happy how beautiful she crack an egg*
Jun: *happy that he's right it has 2 egg yolk*
Me: *bewildered that Jun was right and thought Rachel thought the same*
Rachel- *waving pan in the air to spread oil* "Jun does this with oil, so now i do this." 5:32 "this video is ganna be things I've seen jun do"
"two yokes...ya I thought that's what you were excited about?" "What no....ew ..no...ONE HAND!" Lol
I love her excitment whenever she cracks the eggs just right :)
same
Rachel is so adorable, Jun is a lucky guy! Also, angel Poki blessed this video
Rachel's breaking an egg with a single hand and getting excited is adorable
They are such a wholesome couple ! I wish them nothing but eternal happiness ♡
Heads up, the Japanese captions are showing up tagged as English!
She has more fun opening eggs than me doing anything xD
Im today years old when I learn how to crack the egg with one hand, thanks rachel😂😂
Jun: "you're doing great, honey. I dont find that i have to fix you!"
I WANT WHAT THEY HAVE 😭😭😭💞
They built it for themselves, you can too...
Rachel: literally everyone's watching this video gonna judge me.
Jun: PoKiiiii
Me: yeah right, poki gonna judge you hard
1:36 somehow Rachel gives off Rapunzel vibes XD
Oh yeah totally
She’s very sweet and excitable too!
レイチェルさんが包丁に自信ないって言うたびジュンさんがそんなことない、上手だよって褒めるのとっても素敵、、、
お料理も美味しそう、、お腹空きます🤗🤗
"how many mushrooms?"
"YES."
Rachel cracking the eggs is so adorable ❤...
*I praise*
You guys are the only ones I’ve ever seen teach a cat to give the paw and to sit respectfully in the kitchen and watch. I love your cat family! You have such a loving, sweet life together. Thank you for sharing parts of it with us!
we missed you guys :< keep safe rachel and jun! and to everyone also!
Poki be vibing while we suffer in quarantine
ジュンさんの性格も段々分かってきた気がする、良い人だよね。理想の男性像だわ。
We tend to forget, Rachel went to Japan alone
Then she found a wonderful partner and decided to spend her life in Japan
I can't judge her
Without her courage to live in Japan, she wouldn't break an egg with one hand, her husband wouldn't predict "two eggs," and we couldn't even watch it on youtube
you guys are adorable, where can i get a jun?
Rachel: Give me paw
Poki: GIVE ME FOOD 😹
That meal looks really tasty, shame we can only get Shiitake mushrooms here in Australia.

And I got better though I admit that I propably do the same 10 dishes around 80% of the time XD
this is the vid ive been waiting for since the begining. the moment when jun gets shown up by his wife lmao . i expect great things only the most amazing things
haha i was thinking the same thing - roles reversed
