So I’m a 33 yr old mother of a 12 yr aspiring goth kid, we were watching the kids under the bridge ( goths) next thing you know I’m on UA-cam looking up how to industrial dance 🙃🎶I’m gonna get good at this!! 😁
Good on yer mum, i love it when parents get involved in their kids interests. I'm an elder goth so yep, have fun, be kind & live life on the goth side 🖤❤🖤
I used to dance like this when I was younger - never knew it actually had a "style" like industrial dance. I've been wanting to dance again like I used to long ago - your videos and music are perfect inspiration! Thank you so much!

George, I wholeheartedly agree with you - I developed my style in 92 and do not think I could even give a tutorial, since my style is based on the individual tracks and half of it is not even seriously planned. Fun to watch the new styles once in awhile though I have to admit.

Yeah, I definitely get a bit of a wushu vibe from this style. The circular movements & rotating wrists & elbows make me think of wing chun's trapping/blocking.

So when I found this video, you have no idea how excited I got, and you bet I started practicing Industrial dancing again, now I have the basics down perfectly! Hey High Elven Wisdom and Love - love the name!! :))) So many people want to learn but don't know where to start, so I couldn't help but share the love! :)))
I'm 43, tried to go back to the old industrial/goth club about 6 years ago..it wasn't the same music at all sadly. They use to mix in a lot of old school with newer ebm like VNV, but it was way more techno. And the people were definitely not the same lol. Sadly, the goth/industrial scene here has been dead for a while.
I was a cyber industrial goth back in 2000, maybe one of the first. Never did arm and hand rotations, that was what all the trendy kids were doing in the rave clubs. The dance moves have sadly gone down hill from when I did it, so much more individual back then. I would non stop dance from 10pm to 7am every weekend in Slimelight every Saturday. Thurs and Friday nights local to me in the midlands as well as Sundays too. My moves incorporated martial arts with a mix of latino dancing, so I did wiggle my hips...none of this straight back nonsense. I would clear a huge space around me because I travelled haha. Remember dancing to suicide commando at both Infest and Whitby and clearing a space. Back then most cyber girls danced pretty but I just went for it. Still dance the same at home and I'm 46 now, great exercise haha
well... Its half past three in the morning and my drunk me ended up here... You eventually reach a certain point of internet wisdom that makes you not question things anymore, but accept them.
Nice! I'm from Peru, I really enjoy dancing this, I think I already have got a month practising it and I feel that I have improved a lot. Thanks for your time, you're so cute
Ι'm 24 years old never danced once in my life cause I'm useless my body don;t feel nothing. This is the first time I tried to follow a choreography, thank you
You all are amazing I love goth clothing and your industrial dance had me amazed..I first saw a Thomas the 5ank one you did and I was hooked now back to learning this dance omg I probably look HILARIOUS but love watching you guys all the time. I am 50 and still living my goth style and living it .even my decor is very Victorian Gothic
What I like about industial is that it has a bas-drum, which goes up-and-down. But it also has a strong snare-drum aspect which sways from side-to-side. It's really good for dancing. I took me some 10 years to finally find my own dance,. but when I did, it's like the best thing ever. It's like I somehow realised that I could dance with my arms rather than mostly with my legs. The cool part about that is that I can dance when I'm behind my desk, when I'm working. Also, you get so much energy back from "resonating with the music", that you can keep doing if for long periods of time on end. Dancing is the truth!
Dear Madame Faith. Yes it's helpful, nothing weird about it not at all. I'm impressed you took your time to be somebody who is amazing to see dance. Your actually class. Your a pleasure to see . I appreciate it. From Craig White GB.
Wow! Being a musician, this dance style is very much a performance of the song, using your body as the instrument. I've just discovered this style of dancing through you, finding me, via NIMMINATTI (I think, haha). It's quite mesmerizing as I've said (besides the fact that you're beautiful :P ). I could NEVER do anything like this because the only dances I can do are head banging and moshing. \m/ lol But watching you is like seeing you perform each riff, I guess you'd call it on a guitar, or note of a song! And you are actually quite good even though you say you're not. So I guess I fall under the "weird entertainment" category. Lol I'm just fascinated at the mechanics and precision of this dancing. Again with my analogy... It's like in this video you showed the basics of playing a simple song with your body (I say simple, but I couldn't even keep up with the first four moves at the slowest; I lost it after 1, haha). But that song can be played in MANY different styles, as intricate and detailed as each individual can. Just like musicians can do metal covers of songs, basically dancing on guitars in their own unique style. hahaha Am I WAAAAYYY off? lol
Yes! Thank you! That's what I love about this style of dance, it expresses the music so well and really adds so much energy to it :))) Thanks for checking it out! :))) It is heaps of fun though - and very addictive once you get in to it! :))) To me it's a combination between martial arts and dance - love it!
@@BrioniFaith well you definitely opened a door I didn't know I wanted to look in. lol Still thinking an "industrial" metal cover of one of your songs would be awesome! \m/
BRIONI FAITH you rock my World! You are so Beautiful and Amazing! Your Pleasant personality, your singing, the way you dance and beauty is Perfectly Wonderful! Thank you for being you! I love you BRIONI FAITH! You are awesome! You always brighten up my day & night, I just dance until my legs fall off!
o my god thank you !! I'm a total nubie I just started yesterday and your lesson is the best. and by the way thank you for being who you are. like everyone I have a back story wrought with struggle and all the mean rotten things happened to me but yesterday you became part of my story and an inspirational angel. perhaps one day I might have the honour and pleasure of corresponding with you as you evidently come from the same star system as I . I'm going to work on my moves and post a video when I'm fit for public viewing lol . Have a happy Halloween week and may your days and night always be extraordinary. thank you for your helping save this world... all together we've got this.
Thank you! What a lovely message. Enjoy the dance, I have a new tutorial that is on the way, kind of like a more advanced version from this... building blocks! Thank you for sharing. Struggle makes us strong, and your "mess" becomes your message! :) There are no accidents in what we go through, it's all part of the building blocks, and eventually - it is a fundamental part of the way we will serve others. Life is perfect. :) Thank you for connecting, and greetings from Australia! :)))
How come I haven't found your videos before, you're not famous enough for how great you are! Seriously I've been watching through disgusting amounts of industrial/futurepop/various trance subgenres/psytrance/goa videos, as well as various stuff on the side, and found this video three days ago, on sidebar while watching some shuffle tutorial (and I don't even like music that's usually associated with shuffle/cutting shapes, I just watch it to see what I can incorporate into my own dancing X_x). Anyway love this tutorial, love your music, and you have have a new subscriber^^
Nikola Matašin Do you have any idea how many EBM people have said the exact same thing? Look around her videos and scroll past the 10.000 comments how insainly beautiful she is. (she is). You will find copies of what you just said......everywhere.
yeah for me too, watching this was like 100% confirmation :D its good that there is finally a simple and good video to show people the basics - can be very hard to make someone understand what matters to make it look good and how to move like that^^
Brioni , you are not only a talented singer but also a talented teacher industrial dance!! *__* Your tutorial is the best I've ever seen . I am your endless fan . And Yes,some reception, I took note ;) Thank you for your videos! Best wishes from Russia/ from Mandrake Flower
Awww! Wow - thank you Mandrake! That means a lot coming from such a talented dancer as yourself! A very big compliment for me - thank you! Looking forward to the next dance project and hoping you can be part of it again! :))) Best wishes from Australia as always :))) xx
I cannot believe after all these years the move is still alive, I do not know how old you were but in mid 90s, we slowed the bpms down from rave beats and mixed in industry, it was only music you heard at after hour clubs from Houston, New Orleans,Chicago, to NY. LA had their early shufflers but this dance I believe I am credited for, I had all kinds of people who would come up to me with compliments since they have never seen anything like that before. Remember this was when raving was in it's infancy, X was not illegal, clubs stayed open all night well pass sunrise. We actually incorporated LA shuffling and NY bounce with these moves but it depended on what songs were mixing. If anyone who clubbed back in the mid 90s to early 2000 in these cities, I am still alive!!! Thank you for the comps!! I miss it!! I cannot do it no more, old an my knees are shot! LOL!
Awesome! Thank you for the throwback! haha The scene is well alive, and I believe it will just keep evolving. Every country has their own slightly different style with it, but it is well alive - and it inspires me greatly to share the beauty of it... the music, the fashion. All of it! It is still alive in you too - and I hope you can enjoy it still through my channel. The dancers in my videos are amazing.... and there will be plenty more to come! :)))
I've been getting into cyber goth lately... this dancing is dope, finally something i like. The dancing we do in school is always boring, gendered and cringy.
Wow , that was a quick reply. Thank you. I will definitely try these dance moves , hopefully i can find a goth/industrial club somewhere in my country.
Francois Vanheerden yup! Guys and girls both dance like this in the club, I used to be a regular at the clubs in philly but I'm a mommy now 😁 like she said tho just put some more force behind it and also guys tend to sort of bob their head side to side but kinda forwards a little too when you move. Good luck! Do a dance for me!!
Yeah these are pretty gender neutral steps, just do like she says and make it more masculine/brutish. Girls can easily make them more feminine, in contrast. :)
Have anyone else noticed how Brioni answers almost everyone? And not just automatic crap like most famous people do. She actually reacts to each person, on a personal level. Not just a generic "thank you", either, like she was working. She really seams to love her fans of her works of art. Her FREE work....... *I think she is bloody fantastic in how genunie she is when communicating with her fans.* WIth over 25.000 subs and over 580.000 views in just this video, she doesnt need to "sell" her art by interacting with fans. Everything she releases, automaticly reaches both fans and "trending" on youtube, who spreads her fame, just like any new video on MTV would do. Yet, she takes the time to talk to YOU, the fan. You, who is way too starstruck to know what to say. :p She is giving people the wonderful experience of getting to talk to their star! Someone you admire! Even if it's just for a moment, its one of those memories you never forget. What is so special with that? You may ask. A lot of people gets to see their favorite artist live on stage, and maybe even be close to take a pic! But, - Brioni, who creates the music, that YOU love....is talking to YOU, and for a moment, cares who you are. If you havnt experienced that with an artist that you really admire, you cant imagine the impact it has on you. =) Anyone agree? Because I'm only a new fan of her music style. and, like a teenager, am completely smitten by this women (have to force my eyes away from hers) so I dont trust my own judgement here :p.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write that Krystallen! I believe that when people take the time to write to me, they deserve a response! Thank you so much for the appreciation and acknowledgment! It means a lot to connect with the people who connect with the music, that's what it's all about! Thank you for your kind words - and looking forward to sharing more new music soon! :)))
Sooo.... I'm an odd ball. I'm 52 and keep looking for dances I can do to help keep my body moving and in shape without killing myself. I like this. It isn't hard on the body and I can start out slow and go on from there. thank you! I love the Industrial style and dance.
Useful and it summed up the mechanic motions. Very efficient movements in a world of ever increasing productivity. Robotic, without emotion at times, but other songs are very vocal, inspiring, and energizing.
Well, here we go! Been asked to be part of a wedding in September. And instead of a procession, each couple will be required to do a strut to a song of their choice. I will be doing an industrial dance strut to one of your songs (TBD)! So, I will be using your tutorials TO THE MAX! Wish me luck!
OMG!!!! That is the most awesome thing ever! I hope to see a video!!!! I recommend using Cyber Sex... LOL - the beat is nice and slow, and kindof infectious! but up to you of course! Other songs are a lot faster... and this one has a bit of a groove to it! All the best! Can't wait to see!!!!!! :))))))))))))))
I'm sure SOMEONE will be recording it. If so, will try to get a copy and see if I can grab a clip of my wife and I doing our "strut"! Not sure about posting, but will see what happens! Thanks for the tutorials.

I ended up at a club when I was 17, this is what they were doing. Was so clueless. UA-cam giving me this video was like a blast from the past.
Beautiful movement 09:57 you need to remember - and realize! Thanks Brioni ღ
Brings me back to my younger days. I was obsessed with this during my early to mid 20s.
This was great! Thanks!
With all the quick arm rotations and wrist rotations, it can be a bit tricky to figure out how its down.
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy and keep up the dancing! :)))
One of the best workouts💯
I got no idea how I ended up here.
Hi Batman!
Brioni Faith omg she noticed me. Hi😍
Same
Because you're Batman.
Brioni ......iam a big Fan fromm all what you do and sing 👍👍👍

Ι'm 24 years old never danced once in my life cause I'm useless my body don;t feel nothing. This is the first time I tried to follow a choreography, thank you
Awesome! You can do it! :))) Keep it up!
Ты супер девочка!!! Ты классно двигаешься и походу у тебя сносит крышу, когда ты слышишь музыку))). С Продержи ты бы в лёгкую вошла в топ!!!
an excellent video, thank you
Thank you Jeff! :)))
Your welcome. Keep being awesome and adorable
Thank you so much Craig! There'll be more to come :)))
Greetings from Australia!

Awesome to hear! Thank you! Enjoy and keep dancing! :)))
I could watch this all day. literally.
This is a prime example of a good, patient tutorial. You're so sweet!
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it! :)))
best an easiest tutorial video I´ve ever seen thanks :)
Awesome!! Thank you! :)))
\m/ lol
But watching you is like seeing you perform each riff, I guess you'd call it on a guitar, or note of a song! And you are actually quite good even though you say you're not.
So I guess I fall under the "weird entertainment" category. Lol
I'm just fascinated at the mechanics and precision of this dancing. Again with my analogy...
It's like in this video you showed the basics of playing a simple song with your body (I say simple, but I couldn't even keep up with the first four moves at the slowest; I lost it after 1, haha). But that song can be played in MANY different styles, as intricate and detailed as each individual can. Just like musicians can do metal covers of songs, basically dancing on guitars in their own unique style. hahaha
Am I WAAAAYYY off? lol
Yes! Thank you! That's what I love about this style of dance, it expresses the music so well and really adds so much energy to it :))) Thanks for checking it out! :)))
It is heaps of fun though - and very addictive once you get in to it! :)))
To me it's a combination between martial arts and dance - love it!
@@BrioniFaith well you definitely opened a door I didn't know I wanted to look in. lol
Still thinking an "industrial" metal cover of one of your songs would be awesome!
LOL awesome Rocketjeff!! :)))
Very helpful!
NOW! I CAN DANCE!
thank you so much .
Love you in America...!
she's the first instructor I've seen to teach this in a communicable manner... i enjoyed it!
Thank you! Happy you enjoyed it! :)))
Loved this, soooo clear and beautifully taught. I'm an 80's goth, so no physical spring chicken, but just loved it! Oh to be a twenty something again!
always had an interest in the industrial dance this video helped me with my practice although I'm not gothic or cybergoth
that's great - there are no rules :)
been able to create my own dance from your tutorial I'm so happy and thankful
Awesome!!! Great work :)))
My body does it's own thing 🙃 I so like watching people dance this way.
A nice way to get pumped for the day, thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for teaching me the ways of the Industrial masters....
LOL - I don't know that I'm qualified to teach the ways of the masters! But at least it's a starting point :)))
Really good tutorial ,Brioni ! ♥ you´re so cute and you dance very well ♥ kisses from Argentina.
♥ Aw thank you Athena!! :))) had lots of fun!
o my god thank you !!
Awesome! Thank you!! So happy you found your way over here! :)))
Nikola Matašin
Do you have any idea how many EBM people have said the exact same thing? Look around her videos and scroll past the 10.000 comments how insainly beautiful she is. (she is). You will find copies of what you just said......everywhere.
Thank you much as i am an older guy who likes industrial and have always wanted to learn how to dance industrial style and now i can start, many hugs.
Awesome! Happy to help... :)))
Outstanding! The road to becoming an Industrial Dancer begins here for me. Perfect video and said in perfect detail. Thanks!
Thank you! That's awesome... enjoy! keep practising, and there'll be more tutorials to come :)))
nice done.. i showed someone industrialdance a few weeks ago and explained it mostly the exact same way as you :D
Haha! That's awesome... and very confirming for me :))) Thank you! :D
yeah for me too, watching this was like 100% confirmation :D
its good that there is finally a simple and good video to show people the basics - can be very hard to make someone understand what matters to make it look good and how to move like that^^
Thank you! Yay... it's great to hear that. I hope it helps lots of people, and it's inspiring me to do another one in a little while! :)))
How many people revisiting in 2023
Nope. It's 2024 here ;) How's it going there?
Regards from a Tom :)
Your voice is really calming.
Hmh perfect Tutorial. Its good to see that this dance is still alive.
Fuck all haters. Best dance :D
Good Job.
Ker X Well said!!! Haha! Awesome 👌✨the dance is alive and well and lots are interesting in learning it seems. Thank you!
Brioni Faith Thank you too! For those words i mean.. ^.^"
Keep that good Work Up ;)
its helpfully for me but I need to take time to do it in full speed
Yes! Take your time and go over the slow parts for a while first :))) The movements will become automatic. :)
I've been getting into cyber goth lately... this dancing is dope, finally something i like. The dancing we do in school is always boring, gendered and cringy.
Great for workouts. Thanks for breaking down the moves.
You're amazing Brioni Faith
Aw thank you Stephanie! :)))
Just to be clear , men can dance like this as well right? Or is this more a lady type dance?
Men can totally dance like this, just give it more force, make it a bit more masculine... then check out some male dancers for other moves :)))
Laura Smoley Perfect! Thanks Laura! 😊✨
Can you do a tutorial on how to dance the Macarena?
I don't think that is going to happen. Lol.
You don't sound sure...so, you're saying there is a chance it will?
never say never! .... but .... more than likely not! :)))
Were you just quoting The Biebs?...ok, I subbed just in case.
She'll teach you the haka instead. She sounds like a kiwi
Have anyone else noticed how Brioni answers almost everyone? And not just automatic crap like most famous people do.
She actually reacts to each person, on a personal level. Not just a generic "thank you", either, like she was working.
She really seams to love her fans of her works of art.
Her FREE work.......
*I think she is bloody fantastic in how genunie she is when communicating with her fans.*
WIth over 25.000 subs and over 580.000 views in just this video, she doesnt need to "sell" her art by interacting with fans.
Everything she releases, automaticly reaches both fans and "trending" on youtube, who spreads her fame, just like any new video on MTV would do.
Yet, she takes the time to talk to YOU, the fan. You, who is way too starstruck to know what to say. :p
She is giving people the wonderful experience of getting to talk to their star! Someone you admire! Even if it's just for a moment, its one of those memories you never forget.
What is so special with that? You may ask.
A lot of people gets to see their favorite artist live on stage, and maybe even be close to take a pic!
But,
- Brioni, who creates the music, that YOU love....is talking to YOU, and for a moment, cares who you are.
If you havnt experienced that with an artist that you really admire, you cant imagine the impact it has on you. =)
Anyone agree? Because I'm only a new fan of her music style. and, like a teenager, am completely smitten by this women (have to force my eyes away from hers) so I dont trust my own judgement here :p.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write that Krystallen! I believe that when people take the time to write to me, they deserve a response! Thank you so much for the appreciation and acknowledgment! It means a lot to connect with the people who connect with the music, that's what it's all about! Thank you for your kind words - and looking forward to sharing more new music soon! :)))
Love the outfit and all the purple..
Thank you! :)))
Sooo.... I'm an odd ball. I'm 52 and keep looking for dances I can do to help keep my body moving and in shape without killing myself. I like this. It isn't hard on the body and I can start out slow and go on from there. thank you! I love the Industrial style and dance.
ITS TAKING MORE THEN A WEAK BUT, LOVE IT.
Keep at it Alex! :)))
I love this dance I'm born on Halloween so this was really fun
Veronica Christopher You are born to do this dance! 😄👌✨
Girl, I just love ur music. On my Playlist. Got a few people hooked on it! U remind me of me in a way but u r a total sexy badass!
You're so gorgeous! Love the way you explain the dance movements maintainig yor smile:) greetings from switzerland😘
Thank you! Greetings from Australia! :)))
switzerland :)
4 years late, but how did it go?
Aww i loved your tutorial ❤
haha!! Thanks Fallen-X! People need to come visit your channel for more advanced moves! :)))

This is amazing. I've always been mesmerized by this type of dance. It's very thorough and as an added bonus, the instructor is quite talented and easy on the eyes. Thank you!
I’m now 61 and I am finding this both nostalgic and fascinating. I used to dance like this 35 yes ago. I was definitely ahead of my time excellent fun
