I also would like more people could understand the beauty and the power of the opera. I 💗 opera so much because every possible kind of human passion and feeling has been represented in the operas, with lyrics, music and acting on stage all together at the same time. For example this Musetta's aria from Boheme is about female vanity and seduction. And is so beautiful and seductive. I 💗 Puccini so much. I started loving opera with a collection of famous arias, i liked the music at first but the strong and overwhelming passions and emotions these arias were inspiring made me curious to understand how and why these characters were so in love, desperate, jealous, hungry, tender and so on... ... and I ended up buying records and DVDs of the full operas, and spending hours in listening these wonderful stories and following all the words in the libretto while listening. When someone finds me criyng while I sit down on the sofa wearing headphones all alone at 2:00 AM it's because of Puccini. 😭😄 It takes some effort to understand the opera but it's absolutly worth.

I persevered until I had even the private collections that Puccini never published I managed to lay my hands on. 30 end of the day I have my Heroes full acoustic output.
That all came out wrong. I have his entire musical output now and not a day goes by that I don't enjoy every single note that reverberates through my home his soaring melodies speak for themselves and no matter what that man wrote it was exquisite. My own last wish is for my friends to play the Vissi D'arte by both Caballè and Callas.... My life will then be complete!
