Go watch Bud vs Avanesyan. At range, Avanesyan still was able to get shots off and have moments of success, Boots at range was completely outpointing him. Boots didn’t respect his power or strength hence why Boots decided to risk fighting in the inside for a KO knowing he won’t get hurt if he gets hit. Bud on the other respected Avanesyans power hence why he fought at range and on the back foot and tried to counter punch to win.
Also Boots in round 1 had a responsible guard on the inside, it wasn’t the same for round 4 since he didn’t see him as a threat and was having fun. Even the corner knew and said they were having fun.

I don't think the Crawford fight happens. I think Crawford is gonna try and win a few belts at super welterweight and then look to fight Canelo and retire. Boots should just try and become undisputed at welterweight.
Crawford is going for the easiest belt holder at 154, just like he went for the easiest at 147 when moved up. He knows he can't beat Boots and he knows he can't beat Canelo, but Canelo offers the biggest pay day.

Boots is a good fighter and deserves a shot at Bud but he was a little sloppy tonight. I felt that Boots was somewhat anxious and took some shots from being careless but overall he’s ready for a title fight
Anxious? Look before round 1, when the bell range, Boots looked into the crowd and stood on the ropes for like 2 seconds into the round while David went forward.
I think it was round 4 where Boots was on the inside on the ropes and smiling to the crowd.
Boots after round 3 started to throw way more looping shots. You can see in round 1 where Boots had a more responsible guard on the inside, then Boots knows and doesn’t respect David’s power or strength and fought on the inside trying to get a KO knowing David doesn’t pose a threat so he isn’t scared of getting hit.
Even the corner was talking with him about having fun. Boots was having fun in there.

Boots is as talented as Crawford. He is making a mistake by fighting to people's expectations for exciting KOs, which means unnecessary risks and damage from lesser fighters. One punch can change everything. He should be fighting his fight, using all of his talent, and leaving the rest to his people. He can fight in any weight class that he is willing to sacrifice for naturally. Weight bullying is when you use "tainted meat" to lose weight.
