I laid over in Cyprus for about four days on my way to Iraq with the U.S. Marines just before the War started. We kept thinking we saw a shipwreck in the distance down the shoreline from where we were staying. I'm almost certain we did see one of these. However, we were contained in the area and it was hard to get a good idea of our position on the island, so I'm not sure which one it would be. I want to say, Edro III, but it's hard to say, because of the angles of the shoreline. Good stuff though 👍😁
the ship that was in Georgia I saw just recently. I was at st Simons island and a nice man took me and my father up for a small flight and we happen to fly right by the ship. this was a couple months ago, so july 2020

if your takeing suggestions you could make another video about abandoned ships and planes. try resurching the Merchant ship MV Alta in irland and the Soviot Aircraft Cruiser Minsk in China.
Damn man you bring memories. Me and my family took the last trip on MV SALEM EXPRESS before the accident . We heard about it in the hotel at the next day upon arrival it was horrific news to hear. I think I still have the return tickets and book papers .
3:30 Maheno is pronounced Ma-He-No. i think it was getting towed for scrap when it broke the to line and run ashore. i played on it a few times when i was kid but haven't been to Fraser island for prob 15 years.
If there's locals, you can bet they're salvaging what they can. Steel is not easy to salvage. And depending where, it's not possible to even get to the ship safely. Also, it can depend on the political climate of where the ship wrecked.
They get away with it because the costs of recovery far exceed the value of the ship and cargo. For every abandoned ship, there are 10 more that were recovered.
Which one of these ships was your favorite? I think the massive car carrier is pretty incredible !

I saw the SS Maheno in March of 2013 and I’ve even got video of it.
From what I understand now is that the ship has totally broken up
