This was one of my husbands favorite songs. We sang it at his funeral this year.

Remember downloading this onto my iphone before leaving for Afghanistan... When those bad days would happen, this song would lift me up... I thank God for things I've witnessed being over there... All the close calls, in Iraq, and Afghanistan, being in Gods hands is the safest place in the world...

I was saved in 2009 and I was struggling with everything and I thought I couldn't overcome what I went through but in my darkest hour I found this song and it transformed my life and God moved through it and through me. I was able to overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony!

I've watched as God delivered my x from drugs in an instant..When there was nothing and nowhere to turn he shows up with provision..When you just can't go another day, He will carry you. How old are you now ? You said from 5th grade to 9th grade now " haven't done it (?) for 6 months ? You don't need to be leading anyone if you only have 6 months clean. Maybe 18 months. 🤔

I've helped lead in worship with this song for the last few years and it still amazes me to see how it makes everything that I've overcome to seem so small when I realize everything that Jesus overcame. I know we had different purposes in our lives and the things that I overcame were significant, but the cross? And then taking the same hands that held those nails and using them to roll away a huge stone to crush death and walk away? WOW, what a Savior!!!

When a person searching for the truth in the scriptures cannot see it, the person needs to go look in a mirror, when you see jesus in your reflection and not just yourself then you can recieve gifts of his spirit, recieve these gifts amongst the many scriptures, you will find the only weapon jesus left for us to conquer our enemies, love is all you need, mankind is mankinds own enemy, love one another and live amen, no good one or two, march upon the war torn lands declaring peace in multitudes
Jesus is our hope, and we can find rest in Him. God says He keeps us in perfect peace for those whose minds are set on Him. God bless you.

I struggle with this too. God has recently spoken to me in a powerful way for who he wants me to be, so pray that my faith would stand strong against temptations, and for God to give me discernment to choose the right way when the enemy tries to attack my weakest point.

That right there is the miracle within our suffering, even after a devastating act of violence, God's people coming together to praise him, hearts overflowing with love for their Savior who they know is in control no matter what our circumstances. What an amazing testimony of God's faithfulness.

One day I heard this song at church and it really touche me. I had moved away from god and it brought me closer to him again it also helped several others meet Jesus Christ. It has helped me so much.
