Congratulations Danya - 300 000 subscribers exactly at this very moment (I have a screen short if you want to save it). Very well deserved - your pedagogical skills, and depth of knowledge, are in a league of their own, and such a pleasure to dive into! Looking forward to future videos! :)
The way to dismantle that C4 pawn push was a critical step I kept messing up. I generally go with your method against the French but always got buried because I rushed with A4. This clarifies the plan so much.
300K subs, congratulations! I'm getting getting closer to 1500 rapid because of your teachings and insights (I like blitz too, but I waste a lot of time in the opening phase and then my clock runs out or I blunder because I have not enough time. I need to work on that, because it's way more challenging and fun) . Keep pushing, Naroblitsky. PS: Hope to catch you live any time soon, really enjoy the blitz and bullet grind. If you would consider doing a more European friendly stream that would be nice, I can't be a degen every day 😁
Would there be a way for u to file in ur playlists section. games (videos) by opening for all your speedruns? Like all french openings n ur speed runs in one playist ect
Your videos are absolutely fantastic. Thank you for such thorough and instructional content. I have already used a number of lessons from this series successfully in my own games. I am 1400 rapid but only 900-1000 blitz, so I still make mistakes but this has helped immensely, much appreciated.
Hi Danya, thanks again for the great content! Not sure if you are taking ideas, but an idea, inspired by this video, it would be interesting if you could some kind of 'creating weaknesses', e.g., pawn weaknesses video and then demonstrate it within specific openings like in the French and in the Catalan etc. because their typical structures are all quite different...and then from 1000-2500.
That’s what I’m talking about. Nimzo French is the best by far, thank you. Now we just need some smith morras and some samich kings Indians and we’ll be right back in line
11:20 Can't white win a rook by the fork at the end of this line? Nxd4 Nxd4 Qxd4 Qxe6+ Be7 and Qc6+, cause knight is eliminated and black queen is currently staying on d4, leaving c6 square unprotected ? Yeah, king can go to f7, but is he more safe here, then on e8 with the opportunity to castle?
I've been playing Ortoschnapp against the French a lot at my 1500 level and it seems quite effective, but now I've heard the prophecy and will be switching to Nimzowitsc French
It seems like any sideline you know well that your opponent doesn't is great. Its why sometimes I think the london is hard for white because even low level players are familiar. Its obviously easy to play, sorta, but its hard to gain an advantage without real deep understanding.
Then just Bd7 kicks the queen out. If the queen remains on the queenside, then she is a target of the queenside pawn-storm and she blocks squares that the pawns and knight will need to undermine black's pawn chain.
@@kiston8630 Blocked by his own pawn at e6? Also doesn't need to move to d7 its the same diagonal??? Edit : you mightve misread his comment as queen a4?
@@kiston8630 The Queen would be on the kingside not the queen side. In fact it's impossible in the position mentioned about to get it to the queenside because the c pawn hasn't been move.
I'm paused at 14:16... dxc6, king to c7 is forced. bishop to f4, bishop to d6 is forced bishop takes on d6 is not mate because in that position black has king takes c6, so the correct move must be queen takes!
Oh man I hate playing against the french. I normally just play the exchange (I know, I know...) because whenever I try the advanced somehow I end up losing all my center pawns. This video will hopefully help with that tho! Thanks Danya.
It is interesting because in the beginning of the video Danya says that he plays the torrasch variation where the knight goes to D2 ultimately as the game progresses the night will go to D2 as he pushes the pawn to c3 does the torassch end up in the same pawn position or pawn play is the way the game progressed or is it a knight move that prevents such positions?
Always very instructive, Danya. Thank you so much for what you do for this community

danya, what is your view on inserting qg4 before knf3? i know nimzovitz played this line as well and i use it with relative success

I believe it usually leads to different positions because you will enfore the pawn on d4 with c3 (atleast in the main variations)

at 17:00 instead of Bd3, can white play Smith-Morra-like and sac a pawn with c3?
Have a look at the milner barry, but with 0-0 rather than cxd4
Nice idea but I don't think you get what you're looking for because of the pawn sitting on d5.

29:58 cant the black queen go to c5 and guard the mating square and the pawn?
