I got a Golden puppy this past Thanksgiving and she's exactly the same way.
I love that he started wagging his tail almost the moment he saw her, and then ran right over to her, like he knew she was his new mommy!
The puppy knew he was getting a good home. You could tell by the tail wagging and the big puppy smile!!!!
It's simple. Dogs make life better. They just do.

If they weren't meant for each other! He really latched on to her. My youngest Golden did the same with my wife when they met and it hasn't changed in 5 years, except when it's dinner time then I'm tops for 10 minutes!😊

Goldens- the best breed there is. They are such GREAT dogs and love everyone. Puppy dog food first, THEN adult dog food at 11-12 months of age. They need the correct food for growth before the adult food. Golden days ahead forever. Much happiness to you and your girlfriend.
