Greetings...after reading many of your friendly comments, I have to say...Sue Smith did not send myself here! haha. I'm looking for some easy and tasty gravy sauces to make, I thank you for your recipe. Yes indeed, Praise Our King, Jesus Christ.
Hi, Penny. Sue Smith said to stop on by and I'm glad I did. I have subscribed as I am for anything easy and delicious in the kitchen. I haven't had breakfast yet and your recipes have made me hungry. ☺️
Hi Penny from UK. Sue Smith sent me..... so glad she did. Your recipes are so easy to follow. Just a suggestion.... please consider using grams and mls in your recipes. thank you.
Welcome, Gladdy! Thank you so much for your suggestion and I'm definitely going to do that!! Such a great tip and I apologize for not thinking of it myself. So glad you're here!!
Oh my word, Miss Penny. I am so glad Sue Smith sent me to you. Now I not only know how to make biscuits. But now I know how to make biscuits and gravy. Life is good.
Hello, Bronte! I'm so glad that my videos show how easy it can be to make something yummy! I also love Sue Smith's channel! She emailed me about trying the biscuits and I'm so glad she did!!
My dad would fry pork chops or ham then make this quick 'n easy gravy using the fond, flour, and a couple tablespoons of the grease in the pan. Great flavor. Sue Smith recommended your channel. It will be interesting to watch it grow.
OMGoodness, Gina! That sounds amazing!! Thanks so much for stopping by and for telling me how your dad would make his gravy. I love hearing ideas like that!!
@@pennyleeskitchen156 : My dad's family ran a little resort on a lake in Wisconsin and all the kids had to help. My dad chose kitchen duty so he learned from his mom. He was a pretty good home cook. My mother's idea of cooking was opening a can of pork 'n beans and a Ding Dong for desert. :)
@@pennyleeskitchen156 : No, Ding Dongs are fine. My mother had other talents, she just wasn't much of a cook. Probably explains why I have a case of those little cans of Libby weenies from Walmart in my pantry. As they say, you can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can't take the trailer park out of the girl. ;-D
I used cooking oil instead of butter, but I like the ratio. Made it today for the first time. I wasn't the only one impressed. I came looking 4 A white gravy recipe. I found it right here. 👍👍👍 edit: ps I have never seen automatic salt grinder, but often needed one. Now that I know they exist, I'll be looking to get my own.
I’m so glad and I will keep that in mind if I am out of butter!! Yes, my son bought those automatic salt/pepper grinders for us. Came in handy when I broke my wrist! Glad you all liked it!!
I’ve come here from Sue Smith’s recommendation. I’m quite surprised to find that what you call “biscuits” we here in the UK and Ireland call scones! Also your “gravy” we call béchamel sauce! We would have the scones with jam and cream, traditionally called a “Cream Tea” and béchamel sauce is traditionally served with chicken, or used as a layer in lasagna with a ragu sauce and sheet pasta!

@@ginawiggles918 What a gift for your dad to have learned like that! I love it! Nothing wrong with a Ding Dong, either! :-)
