Love the channel and for everyone who's trying to become and expert handicapper this is the station. I handicap dogs for many years. I have done good but not great. As of the last few months of listening to a bunch of your podcast my winning percentage has increased and I'm now making good money. I don't wager a lot. Maybe 50-75 on the weekends. My bet of choice are quins and supers. Last week I hit 2 .10 cent supers for a total of $239 plus I hit a few small bets. I feel like I'm understanding it all so much better. I've also read a few books on handicapping. Dogs are much easier than horses but dog racing in FL ends this year. I play the dogs in WV so it doesn't effect me. But I'm practing with horses while betting for real on the dogs. So in a year or two I'll be ready to cross over if dog racing goes away. Just want to say thank you for creating this channel. Anyone serious should listen to you guys and ladies. Thanks again. If anyone is at a track in FL it would be cool to meet one of you to shoot the breeze.
I don't understand boxed exacta bets. For example say I pick horse 1, 4 and box that. Doesn't that mean I win if the 1 horse finishes first or second and the same with the 4 horse? Yet when I see handicappers on tv do exacta box wagers they use three horses. Why and how does the third horse come into play?
When three horses are included in an exacta box 2 any 2 of the 3 horses can finish first or second.
when three horses are included in an exacta box any 2 of the three horses must finish first or second. There are 6 possible winning combinations.
