People don´t even know nowadays how to handle a damage-oriented support. God, Pyke has CC, 2 of 3 he has are even hard CC. The gold share on ult only is making the point that he should be taken bot. But if you listen to these fellows, then yes, Kat is also support.
- Really bad wave clear in early, even in mid game -High cooldowns he cannot use them properly if he's laning alone. -Bad clear in jungle, against a good and real jgl (like Lee Sin, Rengar, Evelynn...) he would get constantly invaded since he's really bad in early. His passive doesnt work against monsters. - He cannot be tanky enough for the toplane (since he cannot gain extra-health) - Im saying it one more time but he really has low damages in early --> He cant be Top, Mid (why would you play him mid anyway??) And Adc for obvious reasons. He can be jungler, but he will be countered easily. -Has a lot of cc ( a pull, a stun, and he can execute) -His passive gives him a lot of sustain in lane - Give a lot of pressure in lane because of his w - Can roam easily to get to other lanes. - His ult shares the gold with the last person who assissted --> An excellent support since his weaknesses ( low damages, high cd) are compensated by an adc. ADC should worry about CS and damage dealt, not about good stats. 10/0 with 30 CS is much worse than 0/10 with 300 CS. Those ADC's, who can't farm are just garbage.
Sure, farming gets you gold, but it's still annoying when you don't get the additional 100 gold from kill (instead of assist). And if you're an ADC, your primary goal is to be getting gold, regardless of method (needless to say Farming is Very important.)

But unlike Kayn, Pyke's Initiate are made not to play so selfish, hence to remember and to be aware of Pyke's Lore where he was actually playing the same role as Kalista does, an Avenger or an Assassin. The way I said Assassin I don't mean of how League of Legend's Assassin role is, what I am talking about was of how an Assassin truly is in Assassin's Creed, compared to the reality of that League of legend's Assassin are made just to make sure that an irritating Enemy such as the Mid laner or the ADC would finally shut up and sleep. Like Blitzcrank categorized as Support, Blitzcrank actually suits to be a Jungler than a Kill-Score-Vending-Machine. For Darius to be like Pyke they have to be similar. They are not similar at all. You only think they're similar because of their high damage ultimates with true damage potential, however darius's dunk is not an execute, pyke's ultimate is. That's where the similarity ends.

his R has way more range. he can actually get to enemies to use it. it does not require him to fight to do full damage. it does 9999 true damage so it will realistically never be shielded when the hp threshold is triggered while darius r can be shielded because it only does less than 1000 true damage. it has a blink. he can get resets off assists. his r shares kill gold. byebye.

And it's considered base hp not bonus hp from levels so even that doesn't scale. Like how triforce scales with base ad not bonus ad.
