Best video on you tube. Short, concise, great cheater tips, I used them All!! thanks
Your Welcome! I try lol
My 7400 has a Drone sound and sounds like it's coming from the middle of the engine face. Does a failing clutch make noise before it dies completely?
Could be
Those clutch fans are a task for sure. Not a fan on the newer vehicles
Not a Fan Eh? Haha
How does the fan clutch go out? & is it an urgent fix if your fan needs to be replaced ?
The clutches just wear out inside the housing, unless it's an electric clutch of course. You will usually start to overheat if your in traffic, or if you are driving slow due to lack of air circulation
What size wrnch ?
2 inch
@@meh-canics9628 Ok greatThnk you
Are these a Horton fan clutch?
No idea?
how did know that it was bad?
It started to overheat due to it not engaging,
james brokeassgarage thanks! I have the same truck, same year model. The fan never cuts off, always on so it might be stuck in the open position.
If it doesn't cut out, that's a good thing. This one you could have held back with your finger! Dont try that btw!
Clutches don't have fans. You replaced the fan clutch. Good technique though.
