I love this song SO MUCH! Everything about it. It just goes straight to my heart, my soul and my hips. I am 71 and have been a voracious music fan since the very beginning - music is almost everything to me. My mom loved music and so did her mom and her mom's mom...very deep in the DNA. The Stones were it for me starting at age 11 and still rock me every single day (will never stop missing Charlie, may he and his Shirley RIP). Elodie is in my forever rotation - sometimes I just put it on loop and groove till I'm uplifted enough to keep going (harsh times). It's just perfection - rocks me, soothes me, incredible imagery and poetry. Perfect in the car - cruising from Santa Fe to Albuquerque - your music + blue skies and mountains clears the cobwebs for me. My gran was a couture dressmaker. I will never forget the exquisite red wool coat she made for some lady - your lyrics just make that memory of her creativity pop in my brain. Thank you so much for sharing this timeless gift.
