    RIP Anthony... wow. Merry Christmas to you two !!! I luv how she reads the question then pops a bottle f bubbly whilst Andy has to explain lol and I love how she keeps Andy straight, lets him know what his schedule is and generally is the glue holding things together... typical woman-much like mine lol. Im the boss and I have my wifes permission to say so... Simple formula, 34 years and counting.

    I don’t know Mr H’s last name, but bringing back some of the best memories of Tony Bourdain’s favourite sandwich, I can’t thank you enough kid❤
    That man taught us the love of food and the hardwork behind any awesome meal, especially some pork and bread to be honest and despite me being a royal jerk, I love y’all making the effort. God bless you y’all

    Hope you will keep doing back of house shows I love you two working together,I’m happy that your moving to Sydney as long as you keep doing what you’re doing,I love your show you are so down to earth and real. I love your cherry ripe balls it’s a bit different from rum ball my family don’t drink alcohol,thank you for recommending Non for non alcoholic beverages.     Sauteed mortadella is delicious, you can do the same with a lot of deli staples. Sauteed kabana slices are a tasty bacon substitute in pasta etc. love the vibe for these. And Andy stay strong mate.

    What's crazy is a couple of videos ago I asked about if Andy had any celebrity chef inspirations, and mentioned Tony Bourdain was mine - and here we are with Tony's favourite sandwich! Definitely one of my favourites as well, though I often add some pepper and a nice onion jam as well. If you're doing pop-ups, love to see you come to Adelaide. A friend of mine and I are huge foodies and eat our way around Adelaide once restaurant at a time so an Andy pop-up experience would be wonderful.

    Our family Christmas lunch is griddled maple smoked gammon and cheese with 2 or 3 picles and 2 or 3 salads.
    No roasting anything
    No hours and hours of work in the kitchen
    Just tons and tons of family time.

    Been with you on both channels for about two years or so now. Really enjoy all of the content and especially the laid back vibe on this one. Hate to see Mitch and Dazz go.     Yes I worked for cadbury and made them in Victoria- melbourne / Cherry ripe- crunchie, moro bars- boost- time out, etc etc- Easter eggs.

    I’ve seen the Bourdain sandwich a lot and honestly I can think of about a dozen sandwiches I’d prefer. On the positive side my daughter and I made my late Mum’s ‘yum yum balls’ last night for Christmas

    Awesome recipes, going to have to try that sandwich, the chocolate balls look amazing as well, I'm not a fan of Cherry Ripe, so I might break up a Picnic Bar and use pieces of that. Have a great Christmas guys, will see Andy a few more times before then.
    As far as moving, have you thought of combining beach and big city, somewhere like Coogee Beach?

    That was fun. Fried bologna (boloney) sandwiches are a fav from childhood. I mix my Miracle Whip Salad dressing and mustard together, though. Ohh, I love them. I don't eat them very often but when I get hungry for one, every now and then, it always brings me joy to eat it!

    My grandaughter (in ACT) still has two school days left. Then we'll drive to Canberra and pick her up, and bring her back to help with construction and decoration of the gingerbread house (all the parts of which, i baked yesterday)

    I'm sure I saw somewhere that traditional Mortadelo has pistachio in the meat giving it a very different taste to other deli meats.

      Mortadella de Bologna sometimes has stuffed green olives, or pistachios, or black peppercorns, but always has cubes of pork fat

    If you take meat out of the fridge in advance, use your meat thermometer. It takes WAAAY longer to 'come to room temp' than most folks realise. Im convinced that most chefs are just parroting the rubbish they were taught as apprentices
