I think you should give it a try to bring Balu to work. Maybe do a half day at work and half at home? Bring him some toys, a water bowl and treats and poop bags. He'll get used to it.
I love horses too!! I used to be the Nature Specialist at a Day Camp, and we had horses, sheep, an alpaca, goats, and more. It was so much fun!! And you are right - horses noses are so soft...

For repotting, I just use a boot mat/tray. It’s plain and simple but does the job 😆
What a nice idea. I don’t know where you are from but I’m assuming the US because these are not very common in Europe, at least where I live. For me a potting mat would be easier to get that a boot mat 😂 I think I’ve never seen one “in the wild” (aka not in the internet or magazines etc).

Sorry about your Phalaenopsis - I feel you there, last week (and actually two days in a row) I knocked one of my Hoyas off the shelf, and potting mix went everywhere. The next day, was moving some plants around, same Hoya fell again, landing on top of an Alocasia, and snapped off the new Alocasia leaf that was growing.😠

Happy Birthday to your friend, you guys looked like you had a lot of fun 🥳what did you think of the oysters? The puppies really love to dig for treasures 🐕nothing wrong with a little dirt in the sandwich to add some nutrients 😁 That's a real bummer you can't keep working from home, maybe a doggie bed and some toys with a big bone for Balu to chew would help keep him occupied at the office 🦴 Your orchid is really going to love the new haircut/rootcut! I think your horse vest looks awesome and definitely shows off your artsy side, love your happy positive energy 💖🤗 For a planting mat what about a plastic boot tray? The big box stores usually sell them pretty cheap but not sure if they would have some in stock at this time of year.

I have a potting Matt but I do t snap the corners together. It lays flat. Kinda defeats the purpose to keep soil on the to of the table and off the floor.

I have a question I don’t know if it was you so I apologize if it wasn’t was it you that said you spray orchid fertilizer on some of your plants if it was you what plants do you do that I watch a lot of videos and I’m old so I forget sometimes lol thank you
It was me :) I spray my Hoyas, Orchids mainly. Sometimes go a whisk to more plants on the way :)
