That's the old Dell Synaptics pen you have there. They have released a new one with a new part number which is silver on the top part and remains black on the bottom part. I use it with my Venue 8 Pro and it is outstanding. Nothing like the terrible first few pens which were all black. Really worth getting hold of one as it utterly transforms the Venue 8 Pro into an amazing 390g digital notetaker.

This is the perfect size, I love it. I use it for college and youtube. Everyone has their opinion but me personally I love this! It's NOT good for demanding games but for pretty light-medium games its good. I love it! Like she said the one downfall is ONE USB so you can only have your mouse or usb drive in their. One or the other. I loved windows 8.1 but i upgraded to windows 10 because it was free limited time.

Good review. just want to comment. its build in media player audio is soft. but if you download media player classics and tweak its audio volume, boosting it to the max, you will get good audio playback. btw, just bought this unit over 2 weeks ago. its quite good for normal use. the IPS 1080p display is super excellent for video viewing. internal memory is low, but can add microSD & thumbdrive.

Is the lack of Wintab support the only thing that puts N-Trig above Synaptics? IOW, if my main art apps didn't require a Wintab driver (Artrage and Manga Studio 5), would I be equally served w/ this tablet vs. an i3 Surface Pro 3? Or is there still something lacking (accuracy, pen detection, etc)?
Debating between switch 11, dell 13 7000 and Asus trans tp300la all about same price all same specs except switch does come with 128 ssd+500 gb hard drive. Leaning towards the Acer i like the size and portability compared to 13.3 Which would you choose and why? how is Acer customer service?

hello everyone i bought this tablet a mounth and a half ago and it has already broken twice. firstly there was the wifi that didnt work so i couldnt connect to the internet (it fixed itself all alone in 1 week no idea how) and now the power button doesnt work so i cant turn it on at all. i have a friend who has the same device and acer has changed it three times for her but she still has problems with it. i sincerely advise you not to buy it it's a waste of money and so many headaches....

If you mean the hard drive in the keyboard (if it has one) I believe you can but you must ensure you eject the keyboard when you take it off otherwise you can have data loss.
MobileTechReview The T300 is 13.3 inch, not 11.6 so it is going to be more expensive. Also, that comes with Core M + Backlit Keyboard. The T300 chi is much better in my opinion.

I have a Switch 10 and im vey happy with it. Perfect for net surfing and watching you tube.

N-Trig has better pen tracking and more predicable pressure curves compared to Synaptics.

It looks like a good laptop but £4.99 that is good for Microsoft and you can use it as a tablet but the fact it is not hard is a bit of a bit bad
