    The best presentation on suspension components for an RV I have seen!👍🏻

  • @jetdriver
    @jetdriver 8 місяців тому +12

    After watching this I’m inclined to think the Morryde products are the way to go. The name of the game in reducing the shock delivered to the trailer by a road impact is suspension travel. The longer the distance that absorbs that shock the less of it is likely to be transmitted. The Morryde units seem to offer a lot more travel than the competitors and thus would be my preferred choice after watching this.
    It would be great if you and E-Trailer could instrument a travel trailer and then drive it on a test loop with each of these suspensions fitted to get some true real world data on their performance.

    I dont think you can go wrong with most of these upgraded components. I have an Outdoor RV with the Cre3000 with upgraded shackles and wet bolts, plus KYB shocks on each tire on my 29trx. It pulls like a dream.

    Excellent synopsis on these components! I upgraded my 2006 Weekend Warrior SLC3905 Tri-Axles with the Dexter system and really loved it. Now, with our GD Reflection 320MKS, I feel alot better about the CRE3000 being on there. I wish we had the money to upgrade to the MorRyde IS!!! I wish, though, you had covered the suspension hangers a little in depth, because as with anywhere you add beefier components something else has to bear the brunt, as well as the springs themselves because there are way more suspension failures with these two items than anything else.

    CRE3000 When I had mine installed in an Outbac, I forgot a coofee cup on the counter. The roads home in Commiefornia are crap. Parking is interesting as on a hill but when I went inside, the coffee cup was still on the counter! Sold on the upgrade with 1/2 shackel straps. However after a 6000 mile road trip I noticed the strap had dented the cre300 quite a bit. I40 strikes again!

    Hello, thank you for the detailed video, it was very well done. I just installed a Reese Goosebox on a new (to me) 5th-wheel camper I just got. After installing the Goosebox I have found that the camper is not riding level and is sitting nose high. I can't lower the nose because I am already at only a 6" gap between my truck and the trailer. I also prefer not to flip the axles on the trailer to raise it that much. I was curious if any of the options you went over in this video would raise the camper ride height and help level out the trailer. It looks like maybe the AllTrek would with how much taller the device is. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated!!
