- Gunfire erupted at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, sparking panic in the crowd and spattering the Republican presidential candidate with blood, before he emerged and defiantly pumped his fist in the air and was ushered to a waiting car.
Trump grimaced and grabbed his ear before security hustled him away, his red "Make America Great Again" hat knocked off. The Secret Service and the former president's campaign said Trump was safe following the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles (50 km) north of Pittsburgh.
Live video showed blood spattered on Trump's right cheek and ear.
Downing Street in the United Kingdom issued a statement about the shooting:
“We are shocked by the scenes at President Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. We condemn all forms of political violence in the strongest terms and we send our best wishes to President Trump and his family at this time."

The real kicker is learning Trumps SS detail asked for more agents from the White House and was denied.
Maybe the problem was they were understaffed for this event and didn't have the manpower to properly secure it. The SS might have advised Trump it wasn't completely secured and being a state that swung for Biden presented a higher case risk... But you saw him raise his fist and rally the crowd after the attempt failed...

"Failure". People saw the man scaling the building to the roof. Apparently millions of dollars of security equipment and personnel weren't able to. One of those people warned security that he had seen a suspicious man climb to the roof, and he was ignored by security.
It is heartening to see that so many people are suspicious of this “security failure”.

1) Several witnesses reported seeing a man dressed in camouflage carrying a long rifle outside of the venue, which they reported to the police - why was no urgent action taken?
2) The rooftop where the shooter fired from was located only a few hundred feet from the podium and had clear/uninterrupted line of sight to where Trump was standing - why was the rooftop not secured?
3) It must have taken some time and effort for the shooter to scale the building and move onto the rooftop - why did that not alert security?
4) The shooter must have taken some effort to assume a firing position and take aim on an open rooftop - was his intent not obvious to security?
5) Almost immediately after the shooter fired, the shooter was himself shot by security - did security have the shooter in their sights before he fired?
6) Shots fired by the shooter were followed almost immediately by shots fired by security - was the shooter given the opportunity to fire first?
7) Now that the shooter has been killed by security, his real motives will never be known - is that not very convenient?
8) The event bears a striking resemblance to the assignation of JFK where the assassin was eliminated by someone who would not survive a proper investigation - is it mere coincidence?

How does this rooftop not get a man posted on it? How is it not constantly overwatched if not manned? Why no drones? How does someone toting a rifle and wearing combat fatigues get past the outer perimeter? Why were bystanders ignored who were trying to alert authorities for several minutes while the shooter was getting into position? How did 8 shots get fired before the shooter was neutralized? Is the allegation about Myorkas accurate regarding his refusal to grant additional security? The list goes on.
Unfortunately as a sane person who uses logic, I am forced to consider one of two possibilities. 1) the secret service is grossly incompetent. 2) The secret service is complicit with this assassination attempt.
Suspiciously catastrophic if you ask me.
