John Deere 3130 Turbo

A little test drive on the road with my turbocharged john deere.
Its an exhaustmanifold & injectors from a JD4040 with a Holset turbo from an Cummins engine. 3 inch straight pipe for pleasure.

Great sound, any difference between the original manifold and the 4040 manifold?

There is no difference between the manifolds bolts or so. The only thing is that it has a mount för the turbo itself and its in the middle of the exhaust, original its on the front side. there is no modifications :)

How do u have your oil line ran?

I took oil pressure from the oil pressure gauge output with a coupling so i still have the pressure gauge. then i drilled a hole & welded a pipe to the valve cover and connected the returnline

@@Argentinux ok I got a 2940 with the high compression pistons and a few other things and it’s making 105 so I could prolly get 20 to 30 more with a turbo
