Lots of pros and cons in using credit cards, just be mindful and stay within your budget. I use it because it's safer than debit cards and i like getting cash backs and rewards! I enjoyed your video. New friend here! ❤

It's always difficult to have credit card debt. I live in the US and having a credit card is a must because if you don't have credit history, you won't be able to borrow with a low interest rate. When I do use my credit card, I try to pay off the entire amount and if I have to buy a big ticket item, I use the card which will allow me to finance it (1 year, 2 years, etc.) with 0% interest. My suggestion is, before you get married, have that very important money conversation with your fiancé, esp. if he has no debt and you do. Money can cause strain in a relationship, just being honest.

Sound advice! I live here in California and we use cc all the time, aside from what you said here, it's also the safest form of payment. Should it get stolen, they will not get your cash unlike debit cards. Just be disciplined to pay off your balance each time the bill is due. 👍

Hello Elousia, new subscriber here! I’m pretty new to using cc (less than a year). Mostly I use it in paying my insurances, postpaid, subscriptions and grocery shopping. I noticed that since I started using my cc in paying my groceries,I tend to overspend. However, whenever I use my cc, I always ask myself if I can pay it in cash? If yes, then I can swipe my cc. And I always pay my bill in full amount. Once soa is posted, I pay it within the day or next day. Though there was a month that I borrowed from my emergency fund just to pay my bill in full amount. But I’m still in the process of mastering how to maximise my cc usage without getting into unnecessary debt.
