Nice video! Question. I am purchasing economy plus seats on the same united 737-700. Some posted a comment on seatG*ru that the windows in row 23 were misalignment, but that did look like the case in the video. Was the window view ok? Tia
Hey Tia! Yeah it was a little misaligned, but it wasn't an issue. I did have to lean a little bit but it wasn't a pain like it would be on a CRJ200. It didn't feel like much of a difference than if I was on American's 737-800s.
Those United 737s are a pain in economy plus with the gap(s) in windows. I sat in row 8 last month on a 700 and it was right before the wall. Row 11 and 12 on 800s and I think 900s/900ERs are not good.
Colin, help me to understand why you arrived at IAH EIGHT hours before your flight? You were at the kiosk at 12:04pm but your flight didn't depart until 8:06pm! This video if one doesn't notice details makes it look like you checked in, went thru security, rode the terminal train, arrived at your gate and your flight commences ! How did you spend your 7+hrs at IAH? Although not within your power, the FA's had time for a drink service--I've flown AA IAH-DFW and have received a small OJ and a Biscoff cookie and this was on an MD-80! First time on your channel--Could you please do something about your camera stability? During your walks at both IAH and DFW, there is a noticeable rocking back n forth of the camera, I found it distracting. Looking forward to your next journey!
Yeah I can explain why I was there. I fly down to IAH just to fly. I don't leave the airport. The previous video before this was DFW-IAH on American, which landed around 9:45 -10am. I had Advantage Gold with American and have since became a Platinum member. My return flight was on Southwest, but it got delayed to the point where I would have gotten overnighted so I booked a last minute ticket to DFW on United. Then they changed the plane and put it back on time, and I found out after I booked the United flight. All I really did between then was walk around and ride the train. Also with the camera stability, I understand and I'm aware it's distracting. I'm new to filming so I'm trying to get a little bit better. I guess I just get nervous when I film in airports. I use my phone to record since I don't have a current camera. I really do appreciate you letting me know your thoughts!
