They could be renaming the A Zildjian Rock cymbals (the cymbals which were Z3 Custom until they rebranded them as A Rock) as Zildjian Star since the cymbal as shown at the end shows the star pattern like they did with the Z's with the flower pattern in the 1980's and 1990's.
the A rocks cymbals are very limited . so having the z 3's returning , with lmodels they tossed like the z3 mediums , would be cool !!! i LIKED THE z3's the hammering pattern made them excel miles above the z customs they replaced,, giving them an A custom like sound , but amped up 11!

Well, I would say NEVER!!!!! I have my old Zs and Z Customs 1st Gen, and I will keep buying the old ones, but I won't buy any new Zildjian cymbals....... Unless this revamp is anything like the ZC 1st Gen.... Then I will buy the whole package!!! But I'll still keep my old 22" Z Heavy Power Ride and my old chinas, and my old crashes, and my old splashes, and my old hi-hat.... METAL LIVES!!!! 🤘😈🤘
Maybe this is something invented and/or designed with the current KISS drummer Eric Singer (such as the crashes based on the A Zildjian Heavy Crashes (16"-19") which Singer currently plays-and maybe, in addition to those crashes the former played, the rides based on the 21" A Zildjian Mega Bell Rides, the chinas based on the A Zildjian Ultra Hammered Chinas (19"-21"), the hi-hats based on the A Zildjian Dyno Beat HiHats, the 14" A Zildjian Quick Beat HiHats, or, most importantly, A Zildjian Heavy HiHats, and even the fast crashes and fast splashes, too.)-just like how Japanese drummer Akira Jimbo helped design the Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Series .
