Id you do right thing in top line... Then bottm line will follow( please tell me that he ment by "bottom line") i understand top line meaning but didn't understand bottm line meaning
Well, Steve Jobs talks about the top and the bottom line of Apple.
The top line being Sales and the bottom line being Net Income. So if your company has the wherewithal to develop and sell products that are appealing to its customer base, then it’ll have the wherewithal to ensure costs are being managed appropriately and efficiently.
Nice answer, thank you Robert C
Top line company's revenue and bottom line is company's net income
What he really is saying is that ultimately money chases value and if you have a culture around a strong well understood value system that keeps your employees from missing the forest from the trees and servicing your customer base needs then the money will follow as people will recognize the value of the products and services and your employees will seek greater value for the company's investment value as to maintain that top line representing the reach of your company's positive effect on the world... If enough people need your product then they will always be willing to pay what makes it worthwhile to you as to continue to produce said product/services, if it no longer does then your company will be in position to see the greater value elsewhere and pivot or move to growing marketplaces where they can apply their expertise to, as to better serve the greater society and perhaps the world- like Apple did... This is just a long convoluted way of saying what Steve said concisely: "Focus on the product and what makes yours different and people will appreciate your company and the money will follow in the long run... Hope i helped and sorry for the run-on sentences and lack of grammar!
