Living in the UK myself it always amazes me when I see just how huge your manga sections are over in the states. At any general bookstore we would be lucky to get more than two shelves 😭
Dang im sry to hear that! Its not like this everywhere for sure and some people are not even close to any stores. Hopefully the stores near you expand the manga section more and more!

That B&N volume of The Horizon was likely sitting in a cold and damp storage room before staffers placed it on the shelf, and the temperature and humidity differences caused the peeling.
Oh yeah good thinking they prob dont have great temp control just for back invent. That would do it good thinking DT

Usually the manga in my B&N are in terrible condition which is why I prefer buying at Kinokuniya instead since their quality control is better

It’s gotten crazy how Barnes & Noble at least my area never restocks. It’s kind of sad actually. I’ve been waiting to do my Christmas haul for that reason. I do really enjoy Books A millions selection but I know how badly they treat their employees so it kind of makes me standoffish. Not to mention the customer service sucks! This was a lot of fun to watch! My horizon volume at my Barnes & Noble looks like that as well lol
Yeah for every 1 series Barnes has BAM has 3 more. I have heard B&N horror stories also so it depends on the place and management prob. But the BAM's I go to everyone is hecka nice never had any issues with customer service but it may vary.
This Was An Interesting Manga Shopping Vlog And For Me I'm Up To Date With Yona Of The Dawn- Wolf Girl And Black Prince, I've Completed Bleach And Yu-Gi-Oh!^^ Anyway Loved The Vlog.

I really wish i had a book store that sold manga near me because the only ones i know of within an hour drive away from me is barns and noble, books-a-million and second and Charles and I just cannot drive that far to visit a book store so online shopping is the way to go for me
it may be worth it once in awhile to head over there and shop! I do most of my shopping online but going to the store if gun too!
I got go outand pick up part 3 volume's 1&3 of jjba , vol 9 of kijuno8 ,vol 6 if danda dan ,volume's 79&80 of one piece . And i should have part3 vol 3 of jjba arriving on the 5th . Also, i got vol 14 ofundead unluck and vol 6 of chained soldier ordered and otw. Plus, on the 1st, im planning on ordering the 1 boxset of dai dark wirh volume's 1,2,3&4 in it. Plus volume's 5&6 of dai dark in the singles with boy's abyss vol 4 .

Oh man I just found your channel and I got a small jump scare! I know that Barnes and Noble and live near that Books a Million lol. I share your sentiment, that Barnes and Nobles is a really nice storefront but it doesn't have many books I want in general

also dark moon is super good it is with a collar with a Kpop group ENHYPEN and its super good but the cliff hanger is too much of a cliff hanger but it was super good I JUST NEED THE SECOND BOOK LOL

Well honestly I am looking forward to and enjoying the new jojos part its been great. As for new manga im not too sure. I kinda go with the flow haha
Which one, is it Frisco, Texas? The one in the mall there has an upstairs and escalator. I went there once back in 2016 (before my manga collecting days). I got The Killer Angels by Michael Shaara, it's the book the Gettysburg movie is based on. I got 2 gift cards for Christmas to do a haul.
Lol noooo I dont live anywhere near Texas haha. Im sure lots of B&N have upstairs. I read the Killer angels many many years ago it was a great book.
@@TheMangaSloth I was visiting family there at the time when I got it. I live in Cincinnati. I go to the one in Florence, Kentucky across the river and that one doesn't have an upstairs. It'll be my 3rd haul there. Most of my collection comes from Half Price Books.

I recently bought Death Note Short Stories and Death Note Other Notes - Los Angeles Serial Murder Case B.B. and I wonder if you have them in your amazing collection too? And do you also collect lite novels from Naruto? I would be very happy if you answer, your collection is incredible 🤯🤩
Hey! I do have the death note ones I believe. I do have some other LN in the collection but def not as many as manga. I do not have the naruto LN's though. I did have them at one time but sold them. Also thanks for the kind words!

nice haul! I've never never watched your channel before. I love your commentary for the haul lol :) and I would have to buy Bond lol. Do you have any recommendations for me, I want to get into more dark/horror/strange manga books but, I do not like too much of the creepy crawly, gore types? Thank you! But I think it’s still fine, because they are in English, and many times they’re way more expensive than in Germany or especially in France.

It will be mine first mangas ever and thats why i want something simple not anything like one piece
Hmmmmm okay so this is my opinion but maybe Tokyo Ghoul for the first. Death note is amazing but its a HEAVY read and real in depth. AOT is 34 issues so its long BUT its amazing also. So TG might be a good inbetween and less volumes and stiill a good story!

I literally known about anime since 2months and and after about a week I had known about the manga and like I shown your collection don't you think that your collection is way too much like you were not going to read all these out means collecting all these would what meant (asking in positive mean as I don't know about manga s) like I can't read even my school books and talking about Mangas I don't think my parents would allow me but may be I think I can be wrong and pls tell your opinions 😊❤
We have read 90%+ of our collection . BUT it was not all bought at once so over the many many years we just read and collected and it gets bigger and bigger. It depends on your parents since they make the rules. But in my opinion reading is always good so its like reading a comic for fun. Just let them know its a good thing and its better then lots of bad hobbies.
