- Just installed a GIpro Gear Indicator [White] (Model-GPDS K02) for my Kawasaki Z1000 NOTE WITH THIS PARTICULAR UNIT YOU CAN JUST PLUG & PLAY.
The connection is under the rear seat / also I’m showing you the rout I used to hide the cable. Really find it aesthetically pleasing to know which gear i'm on without having to feel/guess or keep a thought on it.

This indicator is a plug & play unit. The connection is found under the rear seat/ also I’m shower you how I routed the cable on my Kawasaki Z1000. Read the description 👆🏻next time , before making uneducated comments 😉
Hey, do you know if there is a voltage about 12 volts on the diagnostic plug? And which color from the indicator is which signal from the ecu?
Hi bro. Could You tell me what colours of wires do you have under the back seat? In my Z750 2008 are: black/yellow, white/yellow, red/yellow, light blue/black. Do you have the same colours? I have to instal my new GPT GI1001 and there are different colours description in manual. Thank for help and good luck ;)
How do you like the white display? Is it bright? Im debating on white or blue
200 op een 80 weg, daar zou ik echt veelste paranoïde voor zijn. Je weet maar nooit waar ze staan met een lasergun. Ik heb zelf ook een gear indicator alleen is hij niet 100% accuraat, soms zit de indicator er wel een versnelling naast.
Is the process in gear installation is the same in pulsar rs200..tnx..

Why don't they make one end or the other removable to route the wire easier? Removing so much or the bike is ridiculous.
I know what you mean, would indeed be easier...but in this case I had to take these steps to install the GIpro.
