Forgot to add all the fighters in your fighter picks section lmao I was so confused 😭. But honestly I feel like using the basic class descriptions isn’t as useful as breaking it down into the official sub categories. Sure the assassins are quite literally the assassins but champs like Bel, Yi, Kayn, Lilia have kits that are a cross of a fighter and an assassin lending them to be skirmishers. Champs like Voli, Mundo and Udyr, tank-fighter hybrids are juggernauts. I feel like when you see the possible picks from that perspective you can really hone in on a champ pool that suits your play style. Like to fight to the death? Still get off damage while taking it but just a lil more damage than beefier fighter and tanks? Be a more traditional fighter in the Diver class. Wanna be a tank that engages? Play Vanguard tanks like Rammus and Amumu. Sure it’s a start to go, “I’ll be a tank”, “I’ll play a jungle mage”. But there’s a lot of nuance in those champ pools.
Totally agree… but you may consider this is a starters guide so anyone who get to the level of detail you are mentioning probably doesn’t need this kind of videos tho
I think these guides are always directed at people that just start out I do believe however that it’s very important to distinguish sub classes from their overarching classes. A Mundo engage is very different from a Rammus engage.
I definitely feel like Lillia is more of a fighter, especially with the META atm which is definitely looking for extended fights with conq and atm the highest WR mythic is jaksho on Lillia
Hey Virkayu, you can probably use the LoR card game splash arts for shadow kayn and Rhaast to denote the difference in Kayn b/w the assasin and fighter junglers.
My Shyvana was solid last season, so I'll stick with her. I think Mordekaiser will be my second pick. I love the different build paths of Shy. AP Bruiser, AP, AD/On-hit and since I am in low elo, i can play her tanky too. And Mordekaiser is just plain fun with his bonk-action.

be me getting flamed all game by my teammates because I didn't want to gank lanes where I knew I wouldn't get anything (Jax top vs a Nasus who decided to keep pushing with 0 mana instead of leaving wave frozen, Yuumi + Xayah bot vs Sion + Yasuo as Ekko) start game 0/2 against hard counter Evelynn and she abused the early lead she got decide to avoid fighting her until I build something for her get flamed because to avoid farming all game I go into mid game cleaning up after dying laners and getting picks on 20% hp enemies 19 kill streak end game 19/2/2 with all dragons 2 barons and 3 turrets and highest CS in the game MVP according to Mobalytics teammates still want to flame enemy jungler doesn't want to admit it was a jungle gap *chefs kiss*
I wouldn’t classify udyr as a primary tank. Sure Phoenix build leans more into a tank/fighter hybrid but honestly AD udyr is a straight up assassin/fighter with huge snowball potential and a bit more of a forgiving feast and famine play style compared to pure assassins.
Before watching: This video is much welcome. I hate these changes so much lol since perma swapping to jgl earlier this year i finally found a role I liked the most but now I'm all outta sorts with these changes to jgl and items again. All my builds and champions pretty much have to change entirely and idk if as viable. So hopefully I can just figure it out soon, can't carry as here anymore at least from my perspective.
I’ve found it easier to carry since the changes. I’ve also been a jungle main since I started playing so the changes don’t bother me that much. After some time I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Lots of new items to try out

Actually gank/engage a solid amount early game like lvl3 so the smite changes kinda affecting me too bc I might fall behind in farm but make up in ganks, but can't do as much now bc smite upgrade is farm based. And I used to build Sunfire/Chemtech/Frostfire a solid amt and those just got giganerfed lol. Feel like I have to rely on laners more which we both know isn't a good thing lol
Question: Canyon has a playstyle that likes to invade and play aggressive, like Nidalee, Graves and the Kayn that we saw on Worlds. Are there any other champions that fit this playstyle?
Kindred is the peak of this i'd say, since it's literally built in their kit to invade the jungle and take their marked camps. However like Virkayu mentioned, they are very snowbally and high skill, if you get shut down early there's often no way back into the game, your games often turn out either 18/1 or 0/7 type of deals. Evelynn is another good one due to her stealth granting you extra passive pressure, Elise in my experience can work, and things like Lee and Rek'sai btw i'm a low elo clown talking from low elo perspective, for context
Been trying to test out other junglers but it seems like my only skills anymore line up with fighter and tank junglers. I used to be so good with some of the others too.
Once again, Virkayu absolutely roasts me for playing Kha'zix when I should stick to my skills as a mid mage... It seems I will not be a jungler in S13, since I've come to terms with how bad I am at the game. Can't jungle if you don't know how lanes work, right? Don't worry, my champ pool will secretly have some jungle viability... maniacal Rumble laughter
i tryed sylas and gwen - but they both kinda suck in clear /healthyness would like to see some future vaible off meta jgl - since preseason enables some more stuff 4 sure
i need help trying to find a jungle to learn( low bronze/iron btw) I had fun playing things like twitch kha zix and zac but when I pick up characters like qiyanna I just lose and its no fun. i think I play aggressively but I feel like afk farming is more consistent for my playstyle plz help
Qiyana is really hard to play and she's primarily a midlaner. So don't worry about having hard time playing Qiyana or other difficult champions, Zac is really good if you want to play a tank he has the best ganking potential in the game imo and he does some damage so you're not just a walking cc machine. Kha'zix is pretty hard but if you have success with him he's great to know how to snowball and carry your team.
Play Kayn and just main him. Mostly play Red Kayn and watch Karasmai videos on him. Helped me climb to plat. Red kayn can 1v5 late game if you play well up to that point. You will be the sole reason your team wins. If they are 4 out of 5 ranged then go blue and one shot the entire team. Watch karasmai videos though and you’ll get to know the champ in no time and climb ranks.

Honestly, I feel like I kinda found my playstyle with Lillia and Taliyah being my 2 mains. But I am seriously hard struggling to find AD alternatives apart from Qiyana who I got no hands to play
I desperately need your help. I want to one trick my climb.. 2 Champs. I have spent weeks on practice tool trying to figure put who to main. I have a fighter/assassin playstyle and am gold elo. Vik, pick my main and that's who I will one trick and put this one trick search to an end.
I play only assasins and i am high silver/gold idk i stopped playing ranked i only play custom 5 vs5es and as i said the only champs that work fkr me are assasins a.k. eve and diana and i woud like to learn graves or kindred but it just desn't work for me.

Shen really deserves more spotlight in jungle this season. 5 camp clear gank (top/mid) is strong as hell. Lethal tempo stacked up, lucidity = GG
Yeah Shen is a beast. I love jungling with him and his ult makes him so useful to Exert pressure all over the map.

Then you might want to find a UA-camr who specializes in support. Virkaryu is a jungler specialist.
