You are never to late to love them, theirs production concept are real big… doing well on music, mv, global brand ambassadors , mertch , visuals art… real art
@jaynadiah5498 (commented before video Re-upload) ~ You probably didnt know so no hate but with omg you really have to watch the 'Official MV' not the performance version. Its part of a deep 3 part story that tackles the para-social relationships between idols and fans and vice versa and the dangers that come with it. Its an amazing set of videos that deals with dark themes ... i would reccomend watching the 3 parter it goes like this..; 1. Ditto Side A 2. Ditto Side B 3. OMG (Official MV) With newjeans some of their videos are incredible storytelling and works of art... The 'performance versions' dont do them any justice (unless youve sen the proper mvs already and just want to see the choreo versions)
Hi Teej, I really enjoy your reactions and watching the journey you've been taking, as you learn about new music. I'd like to request you check out a singer that you haven't reacted to yet, IU. She's a very popular Korean solo artist. Here are a few of her songs, or songs she's featured in: The first song I want to suggest is "Love Wins All". She released a music video for it a few months ago, and it features V (Taehyung) of BTS (he acts in the MV only, he doesn't sing in the song). Both the song and MV are amazing. I'd recommend watching the explanation for the MV from Bookish Theories too. The second song I want to suggest is "Eight". It's produced by, and features Suga of BTS. There's also a music video for this one. There are 2 good explanation videos you'll want to watch, because the song and MV seem upbeat, but hold a much deeper meaning, and can be hard to interpret properly, without an explanation. Please watch both. Bookish Theories has a good explanation, but the one that will give you more personal context behind the lyrics and IU's history, is the explanation from DKDKTV. If you can only react to one of the explanations, please watch the DKDKTV one. The last song I want to suggest is "People Pt 2". It's a song from Agust D (Suga), featuring IU. It also has a music video and explanation from Bookish Theories. Even though I'm requesting IU here, I want to say that I'm a huge BTS fan. Since you said you're really into good lyrics, I'm looking forward to you exploring more of their songs and watching as you come to realize how good the group's songs, message, and lyrics are. Nothing against Dynamite and Butter, but I think you might have a skewed impression of their music, if you assume those 2 songs are a good representation of their typical lyrics/sound. I'm not going to list any BTS recommendations here, partly because there are so many good songs in my opinion, and I'd have trouble reducing my list to a reasonable number; and partly because I know you've already been given many BTS recommendations, so I don't think I need to add to it. I'm not sure if you realize how large BTS' group and solo members discography is. I'm not trying to put more pressure on you, but just an FYI, if you only release 1 BTS reaction every couple weeks, it will take you several years to get through all their songs. So, my fingers are crossed that you'll be able to upload BTS reactions more often in the future. 💜
Hmm interesting heard loud and clear 🙌 Glad to have you on board and lol no I'm completely aware of why those songs was made and why so popular. Still have fun with them though. I probably won't have any solid impressions of their music until I've checked a lot more, especially solo works. Also, yeah lol I've been told about how absurdly huge the group + solo songs list alone is. You will be happy to know that I've already made a decision to upload more BTS in the future, startiiiiiing this week actually (my curiosity on the depth of this groups members guided me to this decision)
