If anyone is struggling to get their sole to 3 inches with other DK yarns like cotton, bamboo, etc. hold two together and use a 4mm or 4.5mm hook. I used two lion brand cotton and cotton blends and that’s what I had to do get it to come out larger than 2in. Thank you so much for sharing!! These are so adorable! And It’s so easy to adjust this pattern and make small changes for other variations. I switched colors (light beige sole and ivory for the top and slip stitched the front loops of the sole on a couple of them and they are also sooo very adorable as well! I love this pattern!

I bought some on Amazon and too big so that’s why I am asking what size you got supposedly I bought newborn but they’re way too big for newborns so I would appreciate it. Hi Rita! for the 0-3 months which is sole of 9cm, I use the 8cm mould. I found that the booties stretched nicely over the mould. I dont think there is one for the newborn. The sizes are 8cm,10cm and 11cm usually depending on the retailer. And unfortunately I have not had any time to write the patterns up. I am thinking of a blog. As soon as they are up I will let everyone know. Have a lovely day. Nora x
This design is for 0-3 and 3-6 Months. You can try a bigger yarn and hook . Make the same pattern. Measure the sole for a 1 year old. You can find this on the internet. If correct then continue with the shoe

I keep getting a hole in the sole of the bootie. Any suggestions on how to fix or avoid this?
