    Well said Teresa. Thank you Shelly, YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION. I just love all your tuts. I started on my beginners project but oh boy have to do some more practicing and ground work. I hope my albums will turn out someday as stunning and professional as yours. Your biggest fan in South Africa. Wilma (still want to order your paper.)

    OhMyGravy, Shellie this album is gorgeous. Thank you so very much for taking the time to do these videos and share your knowledge, tips & tricks. I am getting ready to start an album using the G45 Precious Memories collection, and because you are such a thorough teacher, I have the confidence to use the type of binding you use rather than using the rings. Again thank you for sharing, take care, Teresa

      Mrs. Mama's Therapy I've got that on my to-do list. I think alot of people would like to see photo placement and also get some ideas on different ways you can place photos within the albums

    We referring to the pre of the pages as well cover. We just think it would be easier and not too much time consuming if you let us know Example 6 pages at 8 1:2 x 6 1/2 Shellie this is our humbled suggestion. We live your work and we follow every tutorial I just keep bringing more people to get together to work your projects. Because I love your work.

      +Maria Morales Hi Maria. Thank you for the suggestion - I do appreciate input and view it as positive input. I do give some of that info when cutting the base black or Kraft colored cardstock sizes (in alot all my tutorials) when constructing albums for assembly (mostly the more recent album tutorials as I try to improve with each one I do). Perhaps I didn't in this particular one though? The suit case album was a difficult album for me to teach. Unfortunately, I don't pre-measure all pocket sizes, fold outs, misc page cuts and give that info up front in the beginning of the tutorial before remaking it as each page is unique in its design. Not all cuts are the same. The reason why I teach the way I do i.e. "measure over 6-1/8" (for example) and cut" and then I turn the page so you can see which way I'm holding it and and say "measure over 8-1/8" and cut" is so people can see where I'm cutting so they don't cut off the wrong end. :)

      +betty cortez Each video is different. If you go to the Part 1, Part 2 , Part 3 etc, of the video, it will tell you how many minutes each Part is. For example. Part 4 of Tranquil Gardens suit case album tutorial is 1 hour 29 minutes.

    I was just wondering what is the name of the wet glue that you use with that super fine point on the bottle? Your videos are absolutely wonderful, very informative and easy to understand. Thanks

      @ShellieGeigle 9 років тому

      Debby Cianfaglione Hi Debby. The glue is called ART GLITTER designer dries clear glue. (there is no glitter in it - that is the brand name). You can buy the metal tip for it and it's re-usable. When they get clogged, you just soak in hot water for 3 minutes, then use the pin that comes with it to remove the residue. Very simple :) Hope this helps

      Thanks Shellie I will take a look for it. Can't wait to see your next video project tutorial. I just recently purchased my first Heartfelt Creations supplies seeing the beautiful books and things you've made using them and can't wait to use them. Thanks again for your amazing tutorials & help about the glue. Do you have a website or blog?

    Shellie me and another two friends we get together to do your tutorial we love your projects but we all agree that if at the beginning of the tutorial can u give the pieces with the exact measurements it would be much easier it's confusing the slice and turning just a suggestion from this girls that love your projects.

      +Maria Morales Thanks for the input. Although I can't change this tutorial or others published as it's already been processed and uploaded, future tutorials launched after this date I can :) thank you for the suggestion as it's a good one.

    do you think hot glue would be good for the straps?

    • @ShellieGeigle
      @ShellieGeigle 8 років тому

      +Crafty Mommy I wouldn't trust hot glue on the straps. But you can definitely try it. If it comes off, just reglue it with something like Art glitter designer glue. That's good for paper, metal, resin, plastic..

    on these strap you are making is that leather ? brown leather and what is the name of it and can I buy it from your store ? I want to get everything I need for these one I would like too see if I can be successful in these class

    • @ShellieGeigle
      @ShellieGeigle 8 років тому

      +betty cortez I recommend using real leather. In the video however, i used the Tan leather specialty paper and folded it over several times to thicken it up so it would be durable and last because not everyone can find or get scraps of real leather . yes, I sell the tan leather specialty paper at the store :). .
