- Spenser for Hire (1985 - 1988) #WarnerArchive #WarnerBros #SpenserforHire
Spenser is cut from a very different cloth than the usual round of TV detectives, a renaissance man who isn’t afraid to mix up a gourmet salad or just mix it up.
Directed By John Wilder
Starring Robert Urich, Avery Brooks, Ron McLarty

Love that shield crest in the begining robert urich. Really was a knight in shinning armor
A Damn Good Show!!!!! RIP Spenser
I love seeing the old MBTA cars, they’re still used to this day!
Just to let you know, Spenser is still alive. Robert B. Parker and Robert Urich are dead, but Ace Atkins continues writing the Spenser books as requested by the Parker estate.
I did not know that! I’ll have to check for them. Curious if you’ve read any of the new ones, and what you might think?
True but never done better than Robert B. Parker's books or Robert Urich and Avery Brooks onscreen.
@@AegisNova I've read Lullaby which is pretty awesome. It's about a girl from Southie who wants Spenser to look into her mother's death. Jerry and Joe Broz make a small return.
I also read Wonderland which is about Spenser and his protege Zebulon Sixkill as they help Henry when he and the other tenants at his building are being harassed by people tho want them out to build a casino. (This was the basis for the movie Spenser Confidential, but that's like saying Stephen King's short story was the basis for The Lawnmower movie )
I read a few of the Ace Atkins books, they were missing something. It almost seemed like they were being written with a formula. They’re ok, but far from the original.
I love Spenser for hire and I missed that show RIP Spenser
this got to be my SECOND fave of this theme song after the second season version.
I love you Spenser RIP
🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤te amó urich desde que tenía un año ❤❤❤❤amor
one of the best shows on tv at the time, wish they would rerun the entire series.
It’s on Tubi.
Now this brings back a lot of memories.
Same here. I visit Boston every year end. Love the city & this theme music. I wish a soundtrack CD was produced. Every time I'm there I hear the theme music , think of John Havlicek & Ribert Urich. Both are gone too soon.
Loved seeing Bird on point at the Garden. Got the series on DVD, great show.
Great show and I read all the books written by Robert B. Parker
Before sisco he was Hawk
Damm good show rih Spencer
I can play this on guitar.
Could you possibly post a video of your performance, please?
I'd love to hear that!
OLD tv shows were so much better than TODAY'S SHITE. Better picture quality, entro, cast, music, editing.
Oh, yes indeed!!!they had a certain sparkle to them.
“Shite”? You Scottish? You can’t even spell “intro”. 🤦♂️😆🤣
GREAT SHOW
the best they should have a place set up in Boston about the show
My fav film
Good show
Loved this
Warner, do us a solid and release "A Man Called Hawk" and the rest of "OK K.O! Let's Be Heroes" on DVD. Please 🥺
Did... did that train just miss Charles/MGH or am I missing something?
i had them same question! After rewatching it went through Charles/MGH during the helicopter shot... Now, was the last station park Street? That would be great continuity
Was probably going express for some number of stops. It happens during rush hour, to get the spacing reset.
LOVED THIS SHOW N SILK STALKINGS BE GREATFUL🙂
