Awesome tip right there! This is very useful for any person who is doing woodworking. Simple, very precise and affordable for anyone 👍 Great video Lukas!
This video makes me feel very "not so smart". Everything you use and show is so simple yet very handy and precise. Great video AFW. Now i have about 10 new things i want to make for my shop. :) I"m also going to return the $30 centering jig i bought from Home Depot because it's not very accurate. This seems much better. Thanks again. Great job.
Wow Jim, amazing comment. I really appreciate and I am so glad you find the jigs useful. The truth is in some time they might not be as durable but from cost / benefit / precision aspect there is no doubt. And I'd rather make a new one. Thanks again! 👍
Hola Jaime, muchas gracias por su soporte. Me alegro que encuentre el video útil. Sí, realmene muy practico. Cuentame como le haya salido. Estoy muy curioso 😉
Hi, Just came across your videos - this is the first one I have watched - excellent. I have subscribed! Question: If the middle piece stays parallel to the workpiece, is there any reason why you cannot cut a slot in it and use a square bit to create a mortis? Keep up the good work.!
The worst part is finding proper bushings - they would greatly improve the life of the jig, but positively, it does the job, specially if one is not doing a ton of joints.
Thanks for making this video! I might try to make one of these. Did you make those metal brackets yourself or are you able to buy those at a hardware store?
Hi Jeff, I bought those at a hardware store but they were not exactly as I wanted / needed them to be. So I had to make few adjustments. Nevertheless this type of brackets is quite standard so I believe you could find them in a local hardware store. Thanks! :)
