Tom Ford Lavender Extreme, Molinard Lavande, Caron Pour Un Homme are some top-notch straight Lavender accord fragrances. ❤ For me, Lavender is such an easy dumb reach DNA.
Never understood why this wasn’t released in the signature line. Think it would have fit in, be competitively priced, and sold fairly well. Este should have considered this over minerale. Simple and signature worthy
I never got around to smelling this until it was discontinued, sadly. Thankfully, I was able to source a 50ml decant recently and absolutely love this fragrance. On face value it seems to be a rather simplistic fragrance, but I think the beauty of it is in it's ability to layer with many of the other fragrances in the Private Blend line.
I came here to say that. Sebatian The Perfume Guy said they are practically identical. FragranceBuy gets Lavande in every once in a while for $40 if you want to keep your eye out for it.
@@boogiedaddy3434 Yeah I've seen that video. I have alot of Molinard fragrances. Lavande can be hard to find. It's on fragrancenet right now for $67. I'm trying to find a sample first. I'll definitely keep checking on fragrancebuy and see if I can get it for cheaper.
I bought Molinard Lavender specifically to substitute this Tom Ford. They are really close, to my taste, yet TF’s one is creamier and sweeter. It also lasts longer on my skin, than Molinard’s one. However, Molinard’s is beautiful and not “cleaning products” lavender
SNOW 😮 I envy your weather in Canada! Here in Israel it's scorching HOT most of the year 😫 Would swap climates with you in a hot minute! Oh and great review BTW
Hear ya on the collector point for sure ,and most probably a great idea at the right price especially. I wasn’t a great lavender forward lover back a couple of Years ,moving forward one year ago I really have taken to it ,ain’t that the way of things lol , I see Caron have released a Parfum of the classic Pour Homme, might take a punt ,that said the modern designer Parfums are nit really a Parfum like for example the the Chanel and Guerlain modern classic releases. That said the price points reflect this and of course the bottle size tells its own story . Cheers Marc nicely done brother 🙏✌️👍
Such a nice fragrance imo, has reminiscence of DHI to me in some parts. Could say it smells little bit similar to opening of DHI. I am not sure how much I like it but I really like having it in collection :) As you said there is lot of Tom Fords I would put before this one but not because perfume is not good in any way just that other notes are more impressive.
It looks really cool and a shop near me does have a bottle for a decent price but before I check it out, do you have a Lavender recommendation ? I'm looking for something realistic or at least really good quality lavender 😊
Need to revisit Lavender, I hate it in Naxos 🤢but I tolerate it as long as it's not very prominent. Anyway good to know about this one, gorgeous bottle! Thanks for the Unboxing Marc!!!
I got a tiny decant of it from years ago. I noted “nice” but wasn’t wowed by it plus wasn’t really into lavender that much back then, now I love it. May wear it on a warm day. Great review! Subscribed!
I have Lavender by Floris (sadly discontinued) and Masculin Pluriel by MFK. Both gorgeous in two completely different ways. This was a let down for me in more ways than one. Interesting but not worth the price and understandably gone now 🤷🏼
The problem is precisely that you can't get a good quality classy lavender for under $100. The problem is not with the cost but with the marketing. Old school barbershops such as Rive Gauche PH and Azzaro PH are either discontinued or reformulated. Nowadays the good quality lavender scents only cater to a small group of consumers (sorry for stereotyping but we are talking about well off men who want good office scents, not whatever Jeremy Fragrance is pushing that is BEAST MODE and GETTING THE LADIES). The good ones such as Masculin Pluriel and Invasion Barbare survive simply because the brands know what they are doing there, and those aren't cheap.
That's tons of work, just google best lavender based scents and you'll find so many, old and new. One day I may do a top 10 lavender scents from my collection.
Tom ford haven't blown my socks off for a big wield. I love their leather offerings, dark and mysterious and i also enjoy my fresh scents. But lately tom has gone too designer on my opinion.
They are starting to lose me a bit, but still tons of discover, feels like the last few great ones for me were Tuscan leather intense and Tobacco Oud intense. They are really using lots of tonka on many of the scents lately from what I found.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 9 out of 10 in my opinion and have a blessed day
a score I can work with! Thanks my friend
Absolutely 💯 GOD BLESS you welcome keep up the good work
I remember Yardley Lavender was really solid, and affordable too.
Thank you for sharing, love seeing scents like these being mentioned.
Wearing this today and its really good with really good performance...
Tom Ford Lavender Extreme, Molinard Lavande, Caron Pour Un Homme are some top-notch straight Lavender accord fragrances. ❤ For me, Lavender is such an easy dumb reach DNA.
100% agree and I do need to get Molinard in my collection.
Caron Pour Un Homme has a staleness to my nose,TF Lavender Extreme is so much better blended and more wearable in my opinion...
Never understood why this wasn’t released in the signature line. Think it would have fit in, be competitively priced, and sold fairly well. Este should have considered this over minerale. Simple and signature worthy
It could come back in the signature line and I agree it would do well in that line imo.
This is a simple but beautiful fragrance. I love it!
It really is!

Yes if you are into layering it would be a solid addition imo to any scent.
Great video Marc. I've heard Molinard Lavande smells similar to this. So I might check it especially for the price.

I heard that as well and Molinard does real quality fragrance for really great prices.

thank you! Happy to report the snow is all gone now :)

Always appreciate your take my friend and again great insight. I did see that new Caron as well.
Found it sealed for $235 last year & can say I’m happy
Not a bad price, not too far off what I paid for mine.

great take on this one. Agree on all points.
@@robes08Thanks!

a cheaper one would be Molinard Lavande. Check it out. But there's so much out there, Caron has a great one as well.
We just had -11 Celsius few days ago in Finland. No spring yet here 😁 but soon
yikes, we just got a blasting of +16 celcius here in my home town and took down the rest of the snow. Now no more snow please lol.

It's such a beautiful bottle, very happy with this purchase and the scent is really solid.

You have such a good point. What a great comment! Thanks for sharing!
25 better than Lavender Extreme, name them please???
That's tons of work, just google best lavender based scents and you'll find so many, old and new. One day I may do a top 10 lavender scents from my collection.
First 😊
Yes you are!
I tried it and I really liked it, but the price of this fragrance really discourages anyone. It's not worth it.
I feel the same, they should re-release this in the signature line so it would cut the cost in half.
too much money 💰 😂
it is lol , damn Tom Ford.
Tom ford haven't blown my socks off for a big wield. I love their leather offerings, dark and mysterious and i also enjoy my fresh scents. But lately tom has gone too designer on my opinion.
Tom Ford is mostly missed these days. I love Rose Prick. But anything past that isn’t it.
They are starting to lose me a bit, but still tons of discover, feels like the last few great ones for me were Tuscan leather intense and Tobacco Oud intense. They are really using lots of tonka on many of the scents lately from what I found.
Lavender is not my favorite note so this one is not for me.
No it wouldn't lol
