same for Munster.... only a few first team players (this was a friendly right in the middle of 2 leages (URC and European cups) and Six Nations... so B team vs B Team (or even C teams)
Munster are displaying a team of future as are Crusaders. Entertaining match to the end. What do the whingers want from both sides ? Its the thrill of your life in the final moments of a rugby fan whether your team has won or lost in the final moments . Its not victory or loss, its that your heart can stay in your chest whilst you wait with baited breath and your heart pounding in your eardrums on the final whistle. Great game played by both teams.
don't worry , we are doing the homework...a new Crusader squad and learning to gel...I'm confident in our quest for another Super title down here...epic game between the best of the best...👍
I dont know the munster line up very well: how close is this to the Munster A team? Because this is like Crusaders C team compared to the one that won Super Rugby
7 senior & 6 u20 players missing on international duty. 16 players missing through injury. 2 players made their debut & another 2 started for the first time. If everybody was available, of that team only Coombes, Nankivell, Frisch & Daly would start with bench places for Archer, Kendellan & Carbery
If this (which is a great idea) gonna be a annal feature, then I hope they alternate hosting rights fairly between northern & southern hemispheres not like in the league form where one hemisphere holds a huge lobsided advantage as hosts which dates back to 1976 (SuperLeague/Nth: 23 - NRL/Sth: 6 home games)
Not really. This was an opening preseason match with most of their top players rested. The Saffas could barely beat them when they were involved with the Super competition anyway.
@@rory7590 yes .. the crusaders were able to beat the SA teams mostly due to the jetlag that SA teams had to deal with. But the SA teams did bring a robust defense that Kiwis DONT like and it was clear from this match that the Munster team were defending aggressively
Ref not bad he let the game flow Good running game Get rid of red card's these guys aren't trying to kill you Well done both team's come on crusaders play like you mean it
I don't know about the munster team but the crusaders team that won the southern hemisphere cup was pretty much a completely different team. That team would have mopped the floor with Munster.
Munster were also missing all their players who made the Ireland Six Nations squad, nine in total. And I think also players who were with the Irish U20's and injuries too.
No doubt they played well, as you say with less than their best team. I'm no NZ supporter, but they've had a long layoff over summer, or what passes for summer in NZ..
Translation: Wehhh 😭😭😢 we losst Half our team is gone to Ireland you twat. Youre the same kind of people who were whingeing when SA lost to Munster in Pairc Uí Chaoímh
Still a loss, I dont think it will go down as.... Munster 21 - 19 Crusaders (not the full team) in the records like, Just take the loss like a man and move on.
Then send the full team next time. We're happy to chalk up victories if you send undercooked teams our way. Wasn't the full URC winning Munster team either. Seems we can field sub-par sides and win, but you can't. Ah well 🦌
As usual NZ teams are having to play up there all the time. Not a Crusaders fan, but Munster would've got smashed playing in NZ mid season, even with all their overseas ring ins.
When will Irish commentators realize that calling the loose forward "the back-row" is an anachronism? There is only one player in the back row of the scrum viz. the No. 8. Similarly, calling the locks "the second row." There are four players in that row of the scrum. I don't think a 3-2-3 scrum has packed down since WW2.
Have to say it. Munster played bloody well, could see the Irish pride running through their squad. Crusaders? I've seen many better performances guys. Thems the breaks though. 😊
Being penalised for early engagement is why rugby union has become a referees' game. Just change this stupid rule and let scrums bind and chuck the ball in and get on with the game.
As a Kiwi i would just like to thank the commentators for their enthusiastic and detailed description of the game. Very well done lads. Hello Munster
Love the passion and enthusiasm from the commentator! Need more of that, adds so much to the game
Agreed
The other commentator though "Awwhhh!! ooohhhh"
@@jebimasta4604 It’s so good!
Would love to see more matches like this between the northern and southern hemisphere clubs.
Hardly knew anyone in the crusaders team all those young players did well having not played for 4 months
same for Munster.... only a few first team players (this was a friendly right in the middle of 2 leages (URC and European cups) and Six Nations... so B team vs B Team (or even C teams)
Bring more games to Cork. This stadium is ideal for rugby. This is where Munster should play there Cork games. Great win 🎉
What a great game even though my side lost. Ireland is always such a great place for passion in sport.
Would love to see more of these club preseason tours in future for SR teams.
Commentary at its finest

First person to comiserat3 th3 kicker was a Munster player. All class lads

This a whole new crusaders team
They didn't do their homeworks on Coombes.
Should be in the Ireland squad
Nah .he can't do it when it needs to be done .frustrating to watch sometimes.

Munster B. Internationals away and lots of injuries.
Crusaders looking sharp

Well done crusaders you,re still the worlds best team.
OMW! Typical Kiwi, when you lose it is your C team 🤣
This game had it all (except for any first choice players for both sides)…

Wtf no red cards come on those are absolute best part of the game.
Anyone know what happened 3 Red King's podcast?
Maybe I should have watched the conversion first hahahaha good win by Munster.
No full match :(
Crusaders were disappointing…clearly missing the Saffas hard defence in super rugby

what crusaders side is this and who is coach now? Great commentary and well done munster but was this the crusaders B team?
As an Aussie, that crusaders team was full of players I have not seen.
This was a munster B or C team - only maybe 3 or 4 fist team players
Crusaders c team
Well played Munster
Ref not bad he let the game flow
Good running game

Seconds team, out of season.

crusaders missing all their All black stars. great game.
Finally some true north south club crossover. I always thought the North would win out..
I have to admit. Munster played better and were very unlucky with some of those pick and goes haha. What a game though.
Did halfpenniy do the haka 😂😂
Yip
Yeah that’s not the full Crusaders team that actually won the Super Rugby comp, so it doesn’t count😂

@@dashingeduardosuarez First game of a new season. Just a loosener for the Crusaders
@@listeningto8371 And I wish them the very best of fortune, in the season to come.
It's on paper now kid
Good to see alot of young talent coming through for the crusaders, futures looking good, 2024 season is going to the Blues 😊
Congratulations munster us kiwis love seeing crusaders lose 😂😂😂
драма)
crusaders umm who da fuk in the team dam
that must've been the worst gk I've seen in my life almost like the wind blew it the other way
You should try watching the Currie cup
As usual NZ teams are having to play up there all the time. Not a Crusaders fan, but Munster would've got smashed playing in NZ mid season, even with all their overseas ring ins.
The Irish can only score when they have an advantage but the kiwis came back with being a man down
That was not sinicle to be shown a yellow card

Munster scraping though at home against an inexperienced Crusader side...
Mmm poor
at home but with mostly debut or B team players...
That was the baby crusaders. Wait till they get out of there nappies. Than what aye?
What is the point in thus game . I wanted to see munsters best vs crusaders best no a reserves match. Defeats the whole purpose of this match
congrats munster
Great game .. a pity there had to be a loser...
We're kiwi to send a b team to play against a top team is effing disrespectful
The crusaders were were very under strengthed for this game with 10 minutes to go, Munster were never going to win hahahaha...
Being penalised for early engagement is why rugby union has become a referees' game. Just change this stupid rule and let scrums bind and chuck the ball in and get on with the game.
Ireland with the boring rugby as usual. They lack ball skills in the NH.
Lol,what's happening to nz rugby 😂
Crusaders the bottom NZ team this year
Next time don't use Ireland ref ,a
big bit of favoritism rhere, aye irish admit it,don't lie
Northern Irish. So he’s technically British.
