Approximately twenty-five minutes of amazing....didn't know what to expect in the beginning but what an upfront one on one performance by the whole group of musicians and of course by Demis Roussos himself. The atmosphere was so warm and friendly and the whole show was one of the best I have witnessed since happening to become a beloved fan of Mr. Roussos. What an amazing voice and stage presence he has always had; I believe I am one of many thousands of women who have a crush on him, no matter the size of the man, just more to LOVE !!!

I am not sure why you believe this - I was a cameraman on the production and the recording was made in the control room on a Philips cartridge recorder. This is a copy of that original recording from the original tape. I started work at Grampian TV in January 1974 and left in September 1975. It absolutely could not have been from 1973. It is just possible it is from 1974 but my recollection is that it was towards the end of my time there so I estimate maybe spring or summer 1975. But it could be 1974 but absolutely definitely not 1973.

I believe it because about Demis Roussos at the TV show Television in 1973 (data given by musicians who played with Demis back then). Directed by Tony Bacon and produced by Bob Hird. Recorded in Studio 1,
So the fact that I was a cameraman on the show and know exactly when I started work there and when I left, doesn't seem to persuade you that it was not 1973??????

He was the drummer and play with Demis there and say 1973, (he left the band end of 73) also Bernard Rosati play there says was 1973 they played there , may be they wrong was many years ago thank you for your help and attention , do you like Demis? Yes, I love his music and really sad to hear of his death. I was thrilled to be part of the shows but I am afraid his drummer has to be mistaken about the year. However I have just checked the only work diary I still have for those years and that is for 1975 showing no sign of that show title so I have to concede that that show was not in 1975 as I originally thought! But that means it has to have been 1974 as I know for sure that I did not start work there until early 1974. Thanks for your responses.

Apologies but I am not aware of any higher resolution copy in existence. Both shows were subsequently wiped and we are fortunate that this Philips 1500 cartridge VCR recording was made by the production crew.
