hongdae has become one of my top favourite places in korea (i even spent a second full day there after this round of shopping 😭) i had so much fun cafe hopping and just buying so many chic clothes and cute things store after store 🥹🥹 hope that this vlog can show you guys just how awesome this place is! ❤️

Hii! Did you stay in a hotel or an airbnb? Ill be solo travelling there and i’m kinda scared as a woman😅🥲 (ill gladly hear tips if you have any)
@@krizel2447 i went there for two months and stayed in a goshiwon (it’s a very small room), i travelled alone as a woman (i’m 16 so heck i was scared 😅) too and honestly i thought it would be dangerous but it was an amazing experience! it’s a safe place ;) as for an air bnb i’m sorry i don’t know much about it :( hope it helped!

um... May I ask what is tax refund? And why it was only in Oliver young? 14:49
Normally, when you buy something from shops, you pay also taxes ( the taxes are already included in the price written on the sticker/box).
But in some shops, tourists can pay without taxes. That means only tourists pay less than a korean by not paying taxes. That's called taxes refund.
I don't know if its clear? 😅

@@irene1210 Not all stores does this. But you can ask the cassier if they do. Normally, big brands/stores do the tax refund. If yes, you have to show your passport that proves that you are a tourist. Last note, you have more chances to have the tax refund at popular/touristic mall or stores.
