It's me, that priest. It made my whole year being able to play against and talk with you. You're awesome my friend and make excellent vids, sorry for being a degenerate priest :)
@@newleafeva Plus when Velen dies again after I play that, he'll start adding new copies of himself to my hand. This is actually 400 IQ I have no idea why I never even thought about this (probably because I didn't even know this minion was in the game). (Nevermind just read that it has no typing lol)
It was way harder to tutor out the minions you needed and you couldn't gain enough armor to stall to the point you could do so, plus Warrior has better board clears. Warrior can also cheat Velen out early with Chemical Spill which is huge.
I mean it theoretically could but also that means that All You Can Eat will now also be pulling Mecha'Thun. Including Draenei already makes it kinda inconsistent but there's still potential there maybe, we could cook.
@ yeah I thought that almost as soon as I’d sent the message haha. Will try and rustle something up. Been loving an XL Gonk Warrior at the moment.. nobody expects it 🤣
So interesting thing, Velen actually triggers Battlecries and Deathrattles differently from each other and this is due to a weird precedent that was set with two specific cards: Shudderwock and Xyrella, the Devout (hero card) Shudderwock would effectively cast the Battlecries from HIMSELF, so if a battlecry said "Summon a copy of this minion", it's casting from himself and therefore it would summon another Shudderwock. Xyrella, the Devout would cast the Deathrattles from their respective cards as if they were still alive, so if Adaptive Amalgam's deathrattle is triggered, instead of Xyrella, the Devout trying to shuffle herself back into your deck, she would trigger the Deathrattle from the card itself and cast it from the card that the Deathrattle was attached to, so she would just shuffle Adaptive Amlgam back into your deck. Same thing above is for Velen, Velen casts the Deathrattle not from himself, but instead triggers it from the originating card, and thus will just put an Amalgam into your deck.
@boogerworm1 ohh that is a very insightful way of explaining it. Re-reading velen's deathrattle effect, that would make so much sense because if its own deathrattle is counted, that means it would just keep on repeating its own deathrattle so devs made sure to not make that happen. Thats interesting indeed.

You're a cool dude, glad to have met you on the ladder. :)
hey thanks for mentioning me!
You put a cool twist on the decklist.
great vid as always!
Every Warrior deck must legally include a Risky Skipper combo, tis the law.

What about adding the 1 cost get a copy of your last drainiay, in case it gets silenced?
holy shit

i asked evil hearthstone about it and he said it bugs and it shuffles the amalgam instead of the 7 mana drenai
sad
Not the blanket 😂
The blanket play for playing vs solitaire rogue is 2000 iq
Bro flexing he has a wife (already achieved more than 99% of hearthstone players)
blanket was OG
wtf was that quasar rogue bruh
Silence use rate up to 100% XD

Question… could an XL version of this deck work with the rest of the mechathun shell for the extra win condition?

@@jamesalderson6803 lmfao I love that we both thought of the All You Can Eat inconsistency before the fact that we can't get rid of our own minion.

why not add adaptive amalgam?
