I realized that in order to close the gap I need to focus much more on the process of it. Previously, as it shows in the video, I thought that I should think about where I would like to be, and I should try to imagine what that would be like, essentially making myself feel the longing for my dream enough that I will do it. I think that it has worked well in making me want to continue to chase it, but it hasn't been very helpful for actually getting work done. What you focus on determines your destiny, so I want to focus on the process of getting better.
