Joshua Becomes Leader (Deut. 31, 34 & Joshua 1)

Hi Grace Kids! Watch and learn about how God wants us to be strong and courageous!
Discussion Questions:
o When have you had to be brave?
o Do you relate to Joshua at all? If so, how?
o How are you going to be strong and courageous?
Baking Soda & Vinegar Candle Trick:
o Try this at home! First, light the candle: Jesus told us to be a light on a hill. We are to shine for Him and show people the love of God in everything we do. God wanted Joshua to shine for Him and be strong and courageous.
o Next, combine some baking soda (~1 tbsp) and vinegar in a measuring cup and cover the top with your hands while the reaction takes place.
o Pour the gas onto the flame and watch it die: even though fear is invisible, it can put our light out and stop us.
o Light the candle again: God helps us to be strong and courageous!
