I just got my first horse. I’m pretty novice to it all. He’s a 3 year old Percheron and is 18 hands already. I guess his size doesn’t freak me out because I don’t know any better. Lol

Draft horses are work horses for farm work, and pulling wagons!! The tails can get caught in the plow, or various equipment, so they keep them short . Basically protects the horse

Why, he has got a cracked right front hoof! Dont ride him too much till that crack heal.
Seems like a small male to me. Ive seen females taller than him.
wrong saddle for that breed of horse and your saddle does not have the support need for that breed of horse
