I think gugu tbh because when you get diagonal arrow with multishot on the staff, you get quite a few owls which can help get you through some really tough spots (like only having 11k dmg on stage 23). Now he is dependent on getting a lot of shots out there, so he can really feel hit or miss, but man does getting the right upgrades make you feel invincible
I've got Onir 7 star and its the best pve hands down, use him daily, his splash ability is awesome for melting most mass mobs chapters. Best for fast farm with bright spear. Making Gugu to 7 also :)

A very controversial list, I would definitely argue a few positions. Here's my list from worst to best: Atreus (obviously) Shari (low stats and the worst ability in the game, her thorns are static, so enemies avoid them easily and they do very low damage overall) Urasil (low stats and poison feels a bit weaker than fire) Phoren and Taranis (the first one has a slightly better ability, the second one has slightly better stats, they are pretty equal to me) Ayana (she has decent stats and charm ability but her portal ability is a disaster that gets me in trouble by accident all the time, which puts her so low on this list) Helix (decent stats, decent ability but it only increases damage on low health, so it is not as good as Meowgik's) Meowgik (decent stats and one of the best abilities in the game: those kittens are auto-aiming, so can never miss, they also go through walls have a chance for crit damage, and do very significant damage overall, plus, when you have high attack speed + different multi-arrows abilities, they start spawning like crazy) Gugu (his ability seems worse than Meowgik's but it's still pretty decent and he has one of the highest stats in the game, also he is the easiest hero to obtain shards for, as a result: the highest potential for evolution, thus he is the best for F2P).
Thanks for sharing your thoughts oleksii! Just a heads up sharis thorns will follow and attack enemies at 6 stars. I always encourage everyone to try all the heroes and see what feels best to them as everyones play style is different. Glad to see you enjoy gugu as that is now my go to!
I think Meowgik is underated a lot as for me he is one of the best from that free to play list. Those cats adds a lot of dps..when they crit it 1 shot mobs. Also you can get rage ability and be much stronger then Helix is but even without rage I think Meowgik is stronger then Helix unlike many ppl think. I have 12.3k dmg and I clearead stage 21 those bosses with him and chapter 22 aswell..Now Im at chapter 23 but I think I really lack dmg now to progress but I didnt even try much chapter 23. Getting shards for him is also not that hard..and its easy to get them in clan from request since everyone is willing to give away Meowgik :) Atm Im at 5 star and 113/250 for next upgrade.
@@iPICKmyBUTT but 1 thing, im starting and testing the ability of helix do few damage on low or half hp, i mean i hv 1,5-2k life, how works the damage boost? if you loose 50% life you win +20% damage by example on all pjs(you can hv 2khp or10k its same damage i mean at half life)? bc my damage boost with my life is sht rn and will be better taranis maybe idk, i ask bc maybe helix is good whn you go upgrading only or idk

No prob Lewis, I havnt experienced any issues but I know they moved the soulstone shop and to the cargo ship on the chapter page (middle tab). Is the cargo ship where you are having the problem?
I look at this in a different way. I don't aim to get low on HP, I just know that if I get low I will get a huge attack boost. In hard levels you just can't avoid taking damage no matter what you do. Also my favourite locket is Bloodthirsty which keeps me alive. If you have a hard chapter where your HP stays in the range 20-30%, playing as Helix you gives you almost double attack. One of Helix' abilities gives him additional attack bonus on a next shot after taking damage which helps fighting bosses. He goes well with Demon Blade, maybe even better than Shingen. I use Helix all the time and imo bow is best weapon for him

I think Helix is not good, when you don't like risk playing, cause his skill is only useful then.
