Underrated???? He is considered one of the greatest rock singers ever!!! Absolutely NOT underrated, totally appreciated and recognized for his abilities
I had the good fortune to see Paul in 1976 and 2006 -- both were epic concerts. And even more remarkably, I was a high school senior at the American School in London, about 2 mi away from this gig when it went down. 😁
The whole roof top performance was broadcast on prime time TV earlier 70's . They did a bunch of songs. Made the news because it was never announced it would take place . I was 11 at the time .
Paul is often noted as a fine crooner and balladeer but not enough people acknowledge he was a tremendous rock shouter as a vocalist. I feel that ability diminished to an extent after the Beatles went into more experimental styles post-1965. But it re-emerges on The White Album and even more in their recorded work of '69. As a vocalist, 1969 might be his peak. He's past the youthful, boyish sound of his prior years and bellowing it out like a more confident and assured performer in that year. Sure, he managed to be a fine singer even after that but the edge and pure ferocity in his vocals seemed to wane a lot in Wings and as a solo artist. Perhaps that can be chalked up to an overall mellowing of his style, going from trying to drive the world's biggest band and outdo two other formidable songwriters to becoming the leader and unquestioned #1 while going from John Lennon to Linda as his main artistic sounding board. Hard for anyone to maintain their peak form when that is the transition.
Okay if you’re going to keep stopping every minute or so, then most people will get sick of it!!!!! Either play the videos and comment after or don’t do it at all.
Clearly you know nothing about fair use laws and copyright restrictions. You can’t just play a song and not talk out it in between the video gets blocked and copyrighted.
Er... it's a reaction analysis video. You can download or buy the LP or track or watch it on UA-cam elsewhere. Perfectly acceptable and expected to get comments at the moments they are relevant
I saw Paul live on his Flowers in the Dirt tour. Where they recorded the Tripping The Live Fantastic album. It was a very Beatles heavy set. His voice was having trouble hitting some notes but he had a cold the night I saw him. They were talking of postponing the concert but they held it, he was only a little off. Still sounded really good. Only member of the Beatles I got to see live. I was only 13 when John was murdered.
"The man of a thousand voices is singing perfectly loud...."
Greatest band ever in their final live performance ever.
my favorite live performance! thank you
Paul McCartney can sing mellow songs but he has one of the greatest rock voices ever
11 albums over 300 songs in 7 yrs 🍻
Some people says PAUL is not a genius! Simply good TALENT!!! Incredible! He is a SÚPER GENIUS FOR ME!!
Paul McCartney's voice is the most underrated voice in rock and roll history. And this video proves it.

Fun fact: John sings, 'Oh my soul!' at the end. That is a Little Richard song from 1958 they sang on one of their BBC Live sessions.
McCartney is a beast! Love this song
Yeah Man, great reaction. :)
Best band ever

Just five+ years removed from the Sullivan Show. Unbelievable.
That was a Paul song and a Lennon song put together .

This is the take used on Let It Be.
You should know when the Bee Gees in their early years they always covered all The Beatles songs.
What was a bit of a crowd ending up being several blocks and stoped traffic .
👍

Too many interruptions every two and a half seconds - bye.

That in between part is not melodic, it's just nasty as they say.
