Well just to let you know they are protesting on America funding a racist foreign country in committing a g******ide.
The FP went to UCLA six months ago to interview students about the war and it was shocking how little they knew about this conflict.
Everything they know they've learned in the last six months. All of it.
I went to university with people like this. They don't know a thing about the issues they protest. They just want to protest.
"the issue is never the issue..."
Exactly, It's what's known among professionals in the mental health field as 'globalising one's personal crap'.
Activism, no matter what the cause it or how important it may be (or not), always attracts a certain percentage of people who are seriously mentally ill. They want an excuse to engage in aggressively antisocial behavior.
Yes. Indignation used to be an emotion; now it's a job.

So they say they are peaceful and unthreatening, expressing free speech., but when the American or Israeli symbols are shown they get aggressive.
You are asking why zombies aren't capable of independent thought - lol.
They were in general peaceful. The ones that are not peaceful and show aggression are the police and the pro-israel supporters as can be seen in in videos of them attacking the UCLA protestors.
Yes, but, four years ago, their violent protests were called mostly peaceful, but as soon as they attacked Israel, the full force of the state is turned on them hmm
Time to reopen the massive asylums!!
They delete comments pointing out the obvious
"this isn't about Palestinians, this is about ME!" - is what Keffiyeh Karen and her protesting buddies really mean.
Yes it definitely about ME.
100% they are not passionate about their cause, whatever it is thus week, they are passionate about themselves
Bill Maher brought this up, and by now it should be obvious to everybody. They couldn't give two shits about Gaza or Palestinians or anything else. Those are props. What they're _really_ down with is the _fight._ Anything that smacks of "the proletariat vs. the bourgeoisie" they all up in that. Stir shit up for the sake of stirring shit up -- at taxpayers' expense, at donors' expense, at parents' expense, and at the expense of the majority of students who want no part of this, they just want to graduate and get their damned degree.
At this point -- and this is the fault of university administrators and Boards of Trustees who are indulging this brat behavior -- those degrees aren't going to be worth much when these students go out into the world thinking employers are going to throw the doors open to them because they graduated from _Hahvuhd._ This is now the Poison-Ivy League; many of these agitators who are actually students now have their scarlet letter, and they'll be flippin' burgers long before they get an internship.
The majority of students didn't ask for this, but they're damn-sure paying for it; and if I were them I'd file a class action against both the paid professional "protest consultants" and university administrators and faculty who allowed this problem to fester until they lost control of events, or helped instigate it. As a taxpayer I'd also be demanding a suspension of State and Federal funding for these schools until they clean up their act. They need to know we're not going to subsidize what amounts to _extortion,_ by _bandits_ masquerading as faculty.
It's exactly like the participants in the We are the World song in 1985 and 2010@@tomhaskett5161

Fifty-five years have passed since Enoch Powell warned that the culmination of drawing in unfettered numbers of non-Europeans and, MOREOVER, non-Christians, into European societies would lead to sociological mayhem. And this has certainly come to pass over the past 6 months, with Muslims organising mass pro-Palestinian, and anti-Israel rallies, in many major cities in Western nations.
Five years after Powell presaged what was in store for European/Western nations with being swamped with immigrants from the Third World, Jean Raspail’s novel, ‘The Camp of the Saints’ was published. Raspail, duly predicted that France/Europe/Britain would be overrun with millions of culturally unassimilable interlopers from the Third World. But he also forecast that.
“Bleeding-heart liberals would purposefully organise parties to fully assist asylum-seekers to safely reach their destinations.”
(Incidentally, the American, George Lincoln Rockwell, preceded that duo by 5 and 10 years, respectively, with forewarning that North America would be overrun with millions and millions of interlopers from the Third World.)
In 2024, there are about 25 million Muslims residing in a score of Western nations. In 1950, the number of Muslims living in Europe was about 4.3 million, most of whom were in Bosnia, and Herzegovina, and they were/are descendants of subjects from the Ottoman Empire. At present there are in excess of 16 million Muslims residing in Europe, and Britain. In 1950, the total number of Muslims residing in Canada, the US, Australia, and NZ, was 300,000. Whereas now it’s over 8.5 million.
The gruesome reality of how dangerous Muslims are to Western nations first came to glaring prominence in London, on Saturday, November 4, 2023. For it was on this day, we witnessed a huge pro-Palestinian and, moreover, anti-Western rally occurring. It’s estimated that 300,000, pro-Palestinian protestors took part in this rally. In the ensuing 6 months in many major cities, and college campuses across Europe, Britain, the US/Canada, and Australia/NZ, we have witnessed a perpetual flurry of pro-Palestinian rallies. What this all irrefutably exposes is the innate danger that Muslims/Islam pose to the social cohesion of the host societies.
Inevitably, what’s occurring in Gaza will inevitably engender a resurgence of Islamic terrorism occurring in Western nations. Here in Australia, there have been two instances of this occurring. One occasion was on April 24, in Wakley in Sydney, when a Muslim fundamentalist stabbed the bishop of an Assyrian church. The assailant did this, because the bishop had “defiled my prophet”.
And the other instance was in Perth, on May 4, in the suburb of Willerton, when a 16-yo Australian convert to Islam, stabbed a passerby in the carpark of a shopping centre.
The good news to report about that is the assailant is that he was eradicated from existence by a shell from a policeman’s gun.
In the 16-year Reign of Terror stretching from Atocha on March 11, 2004, and not long after in London on July 7, 2005, and all the way through to the horrific murder of MP Sir David Amess, in July 2021, has culminated with Islamic funambulists slaughtering a total of 532 innocent people across Britain and western Europe. But, as we’re all fully aware of, there wasn’t one politician, of ANY of the governments or, opposition parties, in ANY of the societies that, endured these atrocious abominations who categorically condemned Islam/ Muslims for these heinous crimes.
In Dublin on Nov 23, a riot ensued following on from when a teacher, and three young children were viciously assaulted with a knife, by an asylum-seeker from Algeria, who was a Muslim.
Alas, as it was during the 17 year-long Reign of Terror it’s a certainty that, the treacherous political, and media elites, will steer completely away from unconditionally condemning Islam, and holding it unreservedly responsible for the mayhem that this religion has spawned. Instead, they will again perpetuate the line that it’s only a tiny minority of Muslims who would be fundamentalists.
With respect to the two 16-yo youths who committed the attacks in Sydney and Perth, the official narrative to be invoked to down-play affairs will focus upon them being afflicted with mental issues. Rather, than calling out the real issue of them being motivated to kill someone, because they have been poisoned by rabid Islamic fundamentalism.
The MSM, in whatever jurisdiction it might be in the Western world will duly avoid condemning those Muslims marching in rallies who are ardently calling for the obliteration of Israel and all Jews. But for anyone familiar with the prof the teachings of Islam, now that Muslims from an early age are taught that, anyone who does not submit to the teachings of Allah, must be eradicated. This chilling message was virulently expressed by a dozen imams in mosques across England, at the Friday prayers on Oct 27, when they vehemently called upon attendees that “unbelievers have to be wiped out”.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, in her book, Infidel: My Life, which was published in 2007, informs us that, as a child she was indoctrinated that “it’s the duty of all Muslims to either convert others to accept, and submit to Islam or, for them to be eradicated”.
Again, this is indisputably proven with the hordes of protestors who have marched in the pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel/anti-America rallies in Western countries, with them openly calling for a new intifada. So, with imams in Mosques in Britain, and also Australia, calling for “unbelievers to be wiped out” or, for Muslims to join an intifada, proves beyond any doubt that, they are totally incompatible with integrating into liberal Western cultures.

@@kathyp1563your comment is interesting. I too have been thinking about protests from the 60s, like the anti-Vietnam movement. Is this the same? Is this just history repeating itself? Or is this something different?
@@darrenscrowston9386 there are similarities between the 2 eras, both ideologically & spiritually.
Communism is popular in Arab countries. Such people use Islamic rhetoric to move the people, but are secularists themselves. That is why there is so much of the protests focus on capitalistic enterprises, or blocking economic success (i.e. protesting on bridges at rush hour, access roads to airports, etc)
Of course the 60s started off as self-preservation. They simply didn't want to go to war. But it quickly became anti-American in general, then more violent. Of course, this is starting off more violent for a variety of reasons.
Spiritually? The Jew-hatred was not part of the 60s. But teens & young adults experimented with the religion of Vietnam (Buddism), which sprouted "The New Age" spirituality, as well as the counter rebellion "The Jesus Movement". I assume teens & young adults may experiment with the religion of Palestine, which requires Jew-hatred, granted it is camouflaged as hating "Zionists", but all the same...
@@kathyp1563yep. I’m on board. It was the same with the green and climate protests. They were about the climate on the veneer but below: it’s was all about capitalism and a Marxist hatred of the rich, and always their beloved communism.

@@pamelakoretsky9909 so people that don't have a college degree have a poverty mindset? I did just fine with a GED. Opened my own business that is still going strong after 20 years and I have 2 houses paid off. Not everyone needs a degree to find their way in life and become successful. I wouldn't recommend college to anyone, maybe a trade school.
@@MrLivewire1970today college only makes sense for STEM and careers like medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and law. Also accounting, teaching and certain other professional careers requiring degrees and credentials. Otherwise no. I know ppl with degrees working as servers in nice restaurants because they can make double what their degree would pay.
@@MrLivewire1970 no, just people who use their economic class as an excuse not to further their educations and express clear resentment against those who do. Im not happy with how Im seeing the woke-bigot mindset expressed on radicalized University campuses, but there are plenty of students there on loans, first in their families, and people going part time while they work, dependent on scholarships, or on work benefits on those and every college campus across the USA. You used cost as an excuse, and made a judgemental statement regarding those who do seek a college degree. My grandparrnts came here with the clothes on their backs from countries where they could not go to school never mind college. ALL their children finished a k-12 education wentbon to college degrees in medicine, chemistry, the arts, social sciences, etc.. To better society, themselves and to provide more and better options for their children. Economics are not the cause of vfc what we are seeing on campuses...woke indoctrination, lack of critical thinking are. Your attitude of resentment based on presumptions is no better.

These protests are obviously centrally organized, nit just on campuses. On the same day, entry way to airports was blocked? On the same day, they blocked bridges in multiple cities.

Yes, right across the west we have a proxy 'war' taking place; the far-left + Islam versus liberal democracy. The Israeli/Gaza conflict is the ostensible reason for protest - but that's just the catalyst.
It's not just these upper middle class students who feel entitled to do this stuff, it's every class. There is mob violence constantly in every large city in this country, whether they're protesting something or not. Their political culture has told them that they're entitled to do this because of who they are.

"Useful idiots" is a term often used in political contexts to describe individuals or groups who unwittingly support a cause or agenda, typically without understanding the full implications of their actions. The term suggests that these individuals are being manipulated or exploited by others who have a more strategic or malicious agenda. Most of the protesters were lured by anti-Israel Islamist organizations. Free food is often offered at the main campuses, and the protesters enjoy the circus atmosphere.
Columbia admin should have negotiated with the Protestors in Hamilton Hall: we provide happy meals and when you leave the building we give you the happy meal toy.

It’s interesting to me, that this Marxist theory just won’t die. It’s been tried over and over. The Bolsheviks/Soviet Union, fascists in Spain and Germany, Maoists, communists in North Korea. Yet every time it’s massive loss of life and abject failure. But, when asked these people state with absolute confidence “it’s never been done right” or “we will do it correctly.” Every time it started its in the intellectual communities. With people who should be able to learn from history’s mistakes.
Exactly 💯! I am asking the same question all the time! No one of them, no student obviously and no one of their professors have been in Soviet Union, or lived there for some time. They even don't realize that no one of the countries that followed Soviet Union like Hungary, Chechia or Bulgaria wanted to continue with socialism after breakdown of it. Isn't it a valuable argument? I lived in Soviet Union 22 years and I am amazed that the ideas that already demonstrated that they do not work are still promoted! Personally I think, that it should be organized kind of Kommunist/Marxist Disney Park for these craving to live according these ideas. Everyone who feels that it is the future should be able to go there for at least one or two weeks and experienced it by living the dream". I'd love to see that realization of "beautiful ideas" may be ugly.
