I am so into DIY nails now. I am tired of spending $70-100 to get my nails done each month. I figured if I invest in purchasing all the necessary nail tools I need to do my own nails, then I should save a significant amount of money. I also purchased off of Amazon a milky white and glitter milky uv gel polish. Beautiful 💖. Thank you ✨️.

Yes 👏🏼 once you have all the tools, so many nail looks you can do yourself. And save money like you said.

Those are very pretty! I didn't think I was going to like the white, but once on they look REALLY good!

Same. I thought they’d be too opaque but once the top coat was added, 👌🏼 ☁️

I love how your nails turned out and LOVE your wedding rings! Is it a Cartier love ring and diamond solitaire or moissanite??

It’s the moissanite I mentioned from a video in the past that I got on Amazon believe it or not🤗

      Thanks ☺️
      It’s the soak off method.
File down a few layers and then soak in pure acetone.
There are some great videos on Yt showing gel x removal method

I’ve been loving these nails!! I use this glue as well and it is great. However I have a heck of a time getting the glue OFF. Do you have the same issue?

Yeah removal sucks imo, ngl haha
Mainly bc it’s so time consuming.
Best way is to file down as much as you can before getting to your natural nail and soak in pure acetone.

gelx usually lasts me a few weeks. but I know that for many it can last up to a month, if not longer.

Can you do a removal tutorial?!

    • @TashVitorsky
      @TashVitorsky  Рік тому

I usually remove them late at night so never whipped the camera out. They do have some rly great videos online.
But essentially what you need is an e drill, pure acetone, cotton rounds + cling wrap.
File the tops of the nails, the more you file, the less the acetone has to work through. Just be sure not to file down all the way to your natural nail and cause heat friction etc…
Then soak the cotton round in acetone, place the cotton round on top of your fingernail, wrap the finger tip in cling wrap. Let it sit for about 15-30 minutes. Remove the cling wrap + cotton round. Using a scraper nail tool, gently scrape off the gel. It should have disintegrated at this point and easily come off. If not then, repeat the above steps. Some people soak their fingers in acetone instead of wrapping them, meaning they’ll place acetone in a small bowl and let it sit down 15-30m.
Either option, you might want to use cuticle oil or Vaseline and rub it around the cuticles so it doesn’t dry out the skin.
      Hope that was helpful!
