I don't know why... but when people see a gout of fire when a Fire Nation soldier is being attacked, for some reason they assume that the only possible explanation is that the attacker used firebending.... It's just a Fire Nation soldier.... it's not like they're known for using firebending.....
The fortune teller is actually legit tho.. all the fortunes came true🤣 from the bear guy to the volcano. The fortune said the village wouldn't be destroyed by the volcano because The avatar was there. if he wasn't there I bet it would've been a different fortune.😅 Loving the reactions!💥💥
Not to mention that she gave the bear guy the umbrella to give to any stranger, the very umbrella that drew them to the village. I normally don’t put too much stock into fortune telling but into the ATLA world, it’s not unreasonable for her to be a legit fortune teller.
The fortune teller was legit. The village just took every fortune a little too far by letting it dictate their lives like only wearing red shoes and not taking a bath. 👌
Idk if someone has explained that in later videos, but bending is not something you can learn to do, of course you can learn to master it and else, but to be able to bend at all is something you're born with

They are traveling across the earth kingdom, so there are a lot of earth benders. If they were crossing the fire nation there would be fire benders
